Hell Yes! I was just talking about FPR R in the under rated games thread lol. I saw this cheap on AWD so I figured I'd pick up the mobile version. I have spent more hours on FPR R than any other game ever by far.

I haven't had a chance to play it with an actual group yet, but just by looking at the cards, it's easy to see how much fun can be had with this. I've certainly seen funnier games, but this is extremely easy and the randomness/variety allows you to play it over and over without it getting stale (and it doesn't require you to be stupid like Quelf). I love trivia games, but they're not fun anymore once you've gone through the cards. With a game like this, you don't really have to worry about it. If you can get the cards printed cheap, go for it, but the official version is currently available on Amazon for $25.

If you have friends that are gaming nerds, Metagame is another one you might want to consider.

Thanks for the input. Didn't realize it was finally back in stock on Amazon.

You got the right version of FPW, too. Fire Pro Wrestling 2 was a major downgrade from the first one. Several modes were taken out, the UFC-styled cage from the first game was removed, and the sound quality of the music was lower. FPW1 kind of ruined the GBA for me; it was so good that I didn't bother with many other GBA games!

Super Nintendo Mini - $2:
I got a text from my Mom saying that she found a Super NES Mini with no hook-ups or controllers at a yard sale for $5. I told her to try to haggle it down to $2, but still get it if they hold firm at $5. They took $2. Hooked it up using some of my SNES cables, popped in Tetris Attack, and it came right up. I'm going to take the plastic tabs out of the cartridge slot so it can play my Super Famicom games.

Big one today!

A new Asus laptop - ASUS A53E-AS31 or something like that - just came.

Specs:
4 gig RAM
750 gig HDD
2.3 Ghz processor
$480 cost, $80 out of pocket because I got a $400 gift card from my school.

And it looks great! (It's red, BTW.)

Open and booting:

Woo!

I'm almost at about $450 on anime for this month, and nearing $3400 for the year. So yes, yes I do buy a lot of anime. @_@

I got this: http://www.amazon.com/Lum-Urusei-Yat.../dp/156931019X for $3 at Joseph Koch's Comic Warehouse today. Why won't Viz put out the definitive collection with the 34 volumes? Aargh. Only copy they had, and picked up a few more comics. Could've gone to a yard sale, but I'm fine with today's purchase.

I've spent $1300 in June on games alone. Plus another $150 on anime and a little bit more for books. This month was ridiculous... lol

I thought my pick ups for this weekend were going to be a lot more epic than they ended up being. I went to the Cleveland Classic Arcade & Gaming con. I brought a ton of money expecting to blow everything, sadly I didn't come close. I was really hoping to find a NES toploader. This year there was just a bunch of flea market quality games, though there were a few gems ( in the past they had mostly really cool things).

3DO longbox games and a controller for $20. One of the golf and the soccer games are still sealed if that counts for anything.

About the only thing I went in looking for. The KC Munchkin games are for the Odyssey 2. got all three games for $8

some odds and ends. Congo's Capers and Pocky & Rocky are just the boxes to complete loose copies I have. The Magic of Scheherazade and Q*bert are complete, got those for $7.50 each. The SNES game is Super Bomberman for $5.

random holes in my collection now filled

Plushes and my girlfriend's obligatory Pacman find.

And the coolest pick up. A bunch of repo carts for $30 each.
