I picked up UMvC3 today for Vita. I hadn't gotten Ultimate yet, just MvC3 for the 360, regular edition and had not gotten Shuma or Jill, because honestly they didn't really interest me enough to pay $10 for them. However, I did notice on the back of the box it said "50 characters*" and at the bottom with the "*" it mentioned that 2 of the characters are DLC. Mind you, it didn't say "Paid" DLC, the way it reads to me is that you just need to download them.

I understand if you had them for the PS3, you get them for free on Vita, but the wording on the box doesn't mention anything about the full 50 costing extra. Am I missing something here, or is Capcom just being Capcom again (between both box text errors and gouging for DLC)? I'm not going to be heartbroken, but if I'm due two more "free" characters I'd like to get them.

I traded in a few games Saturday. I got rid of Call of Duty 3, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds, and Dirt 3. I got $48.30.

Base value was $5 each. $8 for Dirt 3. Three of them were so old they didn't have trophies. And I bought Dirt 3 for $15 at BB. They actually paid me $1.80 to hold onto the game since Black Friday.

I had $100 worth physical copies of games I got digital version for through PS+ that I was considering trading in too. I decided that day I was more interested in collecting games than the money I could get for them, so I held onto them.

If the Vita version is like the console Ultimate version then Jill/Shuma are not included and need to be purchased to use them in game but if you bought them for the normal game you automatically get them for Ultimate I believe, or at least that is what my friend told me when he bought Ultimate for 360

Yeah you have to purchase the DLC if you don't already own them for the console versions. I thought the two characters missing would have reasonable prices like two or maybe three dollars a piece but nope it's ten freaking bucks for the remaining two. Ridiculous.

Does anyone know if that Black Ops deal is for the one with the Annilation pack as well or is it just the game itself?

Well you can thank all the abusers for the loss of instant credits BB has adjusted accordingly. Also, it's a pre-order/purchase deal so you can't blame them for trying to ensure the purchase part is not at risk due to returns. If your taking advantage of all the current killer game deals that are ongoing you should still see a steady flow of RZ points posting.

the site doesn't include the pS3 version either but looking at the ad there's a "T" which is coded underneath the games as "available on more platforms" this should be enough to get the match.

bad news the game is only like 4 hrs long so it may not be worth it.

Quick question, I am a gamers unlocked member at Best Buy. I heard about the preorder deal so I preordered 4 games off the list, but I only put 5 dollars down on each one. I will still earn the certificate/points when I pay off and pick up the game, right?

That's how I read it. You receive the points/certificate ONLY after you pay for it in full and pick-up the game. Hope this helps...

Seems like this is the time to pick up a Vita if you haven't already. Unless, that is, you are holding out for a price drop.

hi, sorry, same question: how does KMT calc its B2G1 free pricing: last game free, or each proportionally discounted? is 'pikmin2' included in NS selection? before y'all flame me, i think it is, you think it is, but i don't want to go to KMT only to be told by someone there that since the 'pikmin2' picture isn't in the ad, it isn't included in the sale. TIA.
