Operation Flashpoint: Red River
Operation Flashpoint: Red River

"Operation Flashpoint: Red River isn't the most accessible military FPS game out there, but it certainly is one of the most realistic you'll find on the console if you're up for the challenge."

"At its best, Red River surpasses Ubisoft's original Ghost Recons for squad-based tactical play. But it's the presentation of the story – not the broad-canvas story, but the story of four marines and their staff sergeant – that marks it out as something new."

I played the one before it ( dragoon rising or something) and it had so many annoying bugs. basically every mission you would have to do 2 times to get it to complete ( example, after spending an hour or 2 sneaking around at night the extraction helicopter I almost died getting to wouldn't take off)

I hope red river is fixed, because it was pretty realistic and had lots of options as squad leader.

I didnt run into any bugs like that when I played through it, it felt more polished than Dragon Rising did. I liked it a lot more than I did DR.

I rented it on and couldn't even play it because of a game breaking glitch where neither I nor my squadmates had guns ~.~ I would hope they've patched it since then...

I might grab two copies for co-op when this hits under $5-ish for PC. Doesn't look too bad.
