For all you turn based strategy lover out there, June 1st is going to be a great day. Front Mission 4 is going to be released and there will be much rejoicing. I've been a huge fan of this series for quite some time now and I can't wait for the release date.
Mech on Mech combat with melee, guns, missiles and even the ability to call in airstrikes! Ahhh, does it get any better than this? Why yes it does with fully customizable mechs. \/ Don't like how weak that arm is? Swap it out with a better part and get to more destruction. Keep an eye out for this one because its going to be great. =D> \/

I've also been considering throwing in the ole FM3 for a while, but thanks to all the cheap ass games I've been buying there hasn't been time . I'm really excited for FM4 and it comes out right as summer break starts. I knew there was a reason I decided to teach.....

Just to whet your appetites, I found some trailers of the game in action for those of you who haven't seen it. Granted, most of the images are of the FMVs since this is a Strategy RPG so the ingame graphics are never that spectacular. However, the core gameplay is reputed to be intact from the previous Front Mission games which is what counts.

YES! RoR is one of my favorite games.

I have a copy of FM3, but I haven't played it yet. I need to play it before I get FM4.

Slight clarification on RoR/FM general comparisons, you dont have the control over your mech in FM that you have in RoR. The strategic mode is the major component in FM, but more simiplified as you only have to worry about the mech and not secondary ground forces, Although RoR dosent have the same amount of Mech customization.

I love the control method in RoR though, and hope it makes a comeback, someday.

Those trailers look really good. I've never played front mission before. But it looks like something I might want to play.
