I am currently in the market for a new PS3 and this bundle seems pretty darn sweet for the price. Heck, on their site the system alone is the same price as this, without the extras. However, as good as this seems, they did cheap out and opt for the voucher for Sly instead of the disc copy and I'm not really a huge racing fan, though the game is always resell potential. And there is also the looming announcement of the PS3 Super Duper Sexy Slim edition (?) next month that seems like a sure thing. Decisions, decisions....

Not too bad of a deal but with the new model supposedly being released I'll most likely wait for that. My backlog is too big right now to justify another console lol.

My ps3 recently died, so I traded it in. Bought the 320gb from amazon, it wasn't working properly, so returned it. Now am debating if I should wait a month for the new super slim model?

My PS3 just died and if it wasn't that I want to play Halo 4 I'd trade in my 360 and be all over this. Instead I've been buying some games on steam and will hold of until black friday when hopefully the super slim PS3 will be out.

Um am I missing something? When did Sony ever announce that they are releasing a "super slim model" that everyone is waiting for in this thread?

It's not official from Sony yet, but it looks like it does exist.

That new PS3 is ugly and looks like it has a PS1 style disc tray; I'd say don't want and get the GS bundle.

If it runs cooler and more efficient (hopefully with zero fan noise), then that offsets the disc tray IMO.

I don't really care for it either, but I'm thinking if you wait until it comes out, stores might try and get rid of the old model PS3's, which could mean better deals.

Where'd you trade in a dead PS3? I have one that has the YLOD. Thinking of just throwing it on eBay.
