Anyone know if you can use the same apple id on two iphones. Its getting annoying getting the free apps on both mine and my gf's apple account. It would be much easier if we could just share the account.

Yes you can but I haven't personally used it. Macstories has a nice rundown on setting it up and how to keep everything else besides purchases separate.

Same here. We use the same Apple ID for the store just like this. My wife then uses a separate ID for cloud and other things, but the store is the same.

thanks, new to ios. It was a little simpler on android.

the issue was that I didn't want her to be using my apple id for icloud and other stuff. Nice they let you set it up do that different apple ids do different things on each device. This will make things much easier.

What I did for me and my fiancé is changed my old iTunes account email address to something we share (itunesstuff@xxx.net or something) so she can have all my apps. Then we each set up separate iCloud accounts for FaceTime, iMessage, and iCloud usages. And I was able to reuse my main email address for the iCloud stuff that i originally had on my iTunes account to make it easier for people to find me. Problem solved.

Is there a way to take off the password requirement every time I download something new? It's a little annoying.

it shouldn't be every time... usually entering the password lasts for a session or so. but... yea, i think it used to be more forgiving but various problems (like kids buying $1000s worth of dlc because they were kept logged in) forced them into being more proactive about security.

I've read it saves it for 15 minutes. This is getting annoying, I'd be willing to sign another TOS to get rid of it, or at least save it for 24 hours.

Well I'm using my apple id for icloud and for both of our itunes stuff. Then her email for her icloud and other stuff.

I'm fine with this setup, but I'm unsure if any complications will arise from this as I'm very new to ios and itunes in general.

Come up with an easier password. I came up with a word/phrase with multiple double letters back to back and a 4 digit number where two of the numbers repeat back to back. Makes typing it in easy.

We use the same iTunes account on all our devices. Never had a problem with that.

Dynamite Jack dropped to 99 cents again and I highly recommend it. Great stealth game, and after you finish the game you can download more levels created by users, and/or create your own. Easily worth the sale price:
