Yes, Dreamfall ends in a really bad cliff-hanger. I'm not going to go into any details, but its one of the worst ones I've ever seen in a game. I'm not saying I don't recommend Dreamfall (because it actually is a great game), but the end/cliffhanger was probably my biggest negative on the whole game and left me with a very bad taste in the mouth.

The developer has hinted at a sequel for years, but after hearing that for so long.....i'm very doubtful it will happen. It seems Funcom is not interested either.

From what I saw there was a ton of like QTE events overlaid on the story..But like most games when people hated it I bet it was more the price. I mean for 7.50 if it is just a average game still good I would think.

It's buggy, the puzzles are few and not great, and the gameplay isn't that good. I still found it to be fun as a Jurassic Park product. If you love the franchise definitely give it a shot at some point, even if it's later on when you find a bit cheaper.

Long time adventure-game fan here (starting in the 80s) and HUGE telltale fanboy.....but i'm telling you, this one is pretty bad. Its about 4 hours long and its almost entirely quick time events. The very few puzzles in the game are insanely easy. The biggest phrase I kept saying to myself while playing this game is "this game is ing stupid"

I don't agree with the comment related to Heavy Rain. That game blows this one out of the water.

Its really just not much of a game, more like an interactive movie with an average story. I honestly think $7.50 is way too much money for what you get from this "game".

On a side note, I'm semi-glad I passed on the Flash flash sale because I've been waiting on a sub-$10 JP deal. Like JustYourAverageJoe, I love me some Jurassic Park, so even if it can't really hold a candle to The Walking Dead, I'll probably have to bite on this one.

It's fine. Signing in through Steam ID is perfectly safe.

Well, you're not actually linking your Steam account. Steam sends steamgifts a unique identifier that is associated with your profile. Your username and password are not shared.

Gonna try Longest Journey... eventually.

Ah, alright; I'm just very untrusting of all these damn "sign in with you account at this other site" (I'm looking at you facebook )

Edit: Looks like Meridian 4 Publishes Still Life. They already bundled Scratches and the Syberias plus a ton of their other games, so I am going to wait out Still Life for groupees. In fact, let me message them asking for still life on their chat

I have it, haven't played it enough to say one way or another. The little I did play felt cool but I recall it having a bit more story and things to learn from the jump than most FPS. Meaning I couldn't just start the game and start shooting the crap out of people, which is what I wanted to do at the time.

I believe that was utopian. I need to play this too so I can give the final word on its worthiness.

I was going to get the Longest Journey pack but the fact Dreamfall ends on a cliffhanger and I've already played through TLJ means I can wait. Call me crazy but I think I'm going to get the Jurassic Park game instead. I played a little bit of EYE during the Winter sale and enjoyed what I played. For $1.88 you don't have much to lose.

Was just doing the math, and if you wanted everything from the Telltale Pack but the Puzzle Agent games, then picking everything up as they came up on sale was cheaper by a long run. So much so that you can pick up the two Puzzle Agent games at the price they are now and still come out a few bucks ahead. Telltale really mispriced their pack.

Really regretting passing on BttF when it was up. Oh well, next sale.
