Ideally I'd prefer that as well but unfortunately CAG and Steam names are not linked and not always a like which is going to cause problems when verifying or "purging" members. Also I don't want to be the one to define who is a "CAG" especially for a "general" group like this and the fact that CAG itself has no membership restrictions (anyone can create an account and join the CAG forum). Smaller vetted member groups or forum giveaways are the easiest solution here.

So I guess there is a little truth to the fact that Memphis has/had the most Anarchy Editions to send out. Too bad customers cannot specify a warehouse to receive the game from. It really sucks for you guys that are receiving the same version sold by Steam.

Couldn't you guys just make another Steam Group? A sub-Steam Group like CAG Regulars Steam group or something similar. Just have invites to Admins only.

Another solution: giveaways for private/invite required groups are allowed to add specific rules for anyone who wants to enter. It's easy enough to put certain requirements for winning, verify the winners identities on CAG, and ask the staff to reroll the results if someone who isn't supposed to win does.

For example, we could state that CAGs who have less than 100 posts, a join date after 2011, or who are named BernardoOne are ineligible to win. Just as an example, of course.

Fudgeeee, mine is from Cali. Game comes with the RAGE (NA) key and Sewers Mission key. Right-clicking and viewing the game downloadable content only shows sewers. Haven't installed the game yet. Although my invoice did show Anarchy Edition.

I actually tried just doing invite only giveaway using Steamgifts. It was successful considering that names I sort of recognized were the ones that commented and eventually won. It failed cause how limited in scope it was (I think only max of 7 people entered for my Last Remnant giveaway lol). I kinda wish there was a bb code in this forum where we could use [h ide] [/h ide] tag that individuals with certain number of post can view it. I purposely did not post in main steam giveaway thread just to limit non-cag participant getting a chance to win.

I don't know how steam group operates, but I think the best way to go about is to limit who has the ability to invite into group.

Also, the main steam topic on pc section has now degraded with people only asking for CAG group invites. Actually even this topic should be posted in that thread...but I think we've all noticed that main participants of CAG steam members only uses this thread.

I have a question to anyone with Wanderlust.. Does the character you use in single-player the same one you use in multi-player? and is the single-player any good? Thanks

Yeah the same happened to me and mine came from Cali as well. I'll live but would have been nice to have had the exclusive Anarachy DLC.

I installed and verified that it's definitely not there. Rage (NA) doesn't have it, it seems.

Well maybe someday id will care about RAGE on PC and sell the DLC separately like they've been doing for a while now for consoles :|

As of February 15, 2012 the Anarchy Edition content is available for purchase on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 160 MSP.

To add more fuel to the fire, my (Anarchy edition) copy came from NJ. I wouldn't have been TOO disappointed if it were the standard version, though, since it was only six dollars. Not too big of a deal, I guess. Kind of sucks though, because of how random it seems to be.

On the FAQ it says you should contact the giver on his/her Steam profile after 24 hours then after a week has passed without receiving the gift mark it as not received.

So basically, people on the east coast get Anarchy Edition, and people on the west coast get stuck with standard.

GamersGate is selling 4-packs of Borderlands 2 for $180 with a 10% loyalty bonus through the 30th. The 15% IGN prime discount stacks, bringing the total cost to $135 for a four-pack, or $33.75 a copy. If you don't own Borderlands from GamersGate you can buy it version for $4.25, bringing the total to about $35 a copy. I don't believe this version activates on Steam or works with any DLC.

Which is a surprise as at least the south kind of makes sense, Less overall people ordering from the south compared to the high populations in the West and East.

I guess it really just depends on which box they take your copy out of, the old box with the older keys or the new box with the new copies.

It says on the Borderlands 2 page on GamersGate that steamworks is required... so... it should work on Steam. EDIT: Unless you meant the vanilla Borderlands? That mentions nothing about steam, so in that case you're right...don't mind me

I'm meh about paying $54 for a copy but I could be convinced to bite at $34-35. Maybe. But would GamersGate charge you right away, like GMG does? I think Amazon waits to charge until the game actually comes out.

After redeeming my Rage key from Newegg on Steam, right-clicking, selecting properties and DLC shows Rage Authority Pack DLC. I didn't really care one way or another for $6.

Since Wanderlust is also on Desura, think there's a good chance it'll end up in one of their Indie Royale bundles?

Damn, that leaves me out. I only joined in February 2012 and have been spending all my money ever since.
