I got excited over the Double Fine bundle until I realized I owned all the games in it. Welcome to the Steam sale

Anyone know how many community votes we have had altogether? I just got my elevated carpenter thing for hitting my 15th vote, have I missed any?
Old 07-17-2012, 11:40 AM   #83

There have been 15 total, so you haven't missed any.

Batman was the 15th choice, the one that is up right now is the 16th community choice

Morning all. Voted for Sanctum, eyeballing Costume Quest, waiting for the 1pm update :-)

BTW I hit 15 votes as well. I'm pretty sure we're on 16 right now though (if I counted on my fingers correctly)

Hai pals!

Morning Guys.

Bought Stacking since I have CQ and Psychonauts already. Can't wait for 1PM because this sale is little by little destroying my wishlist .

Voting for E.Y.E want to pick this up this sale but had a feeling it would 75% off if I waited xD RPG styled fps's are my favorite fps's soo.

P.S Also surprised Sniper Elite isn't more off with the developer according to the amazon rep loving Amazon's sale price of 14.99 and extending it.

Oh wow, I may have to try that out then and see how well this "ads for games" system works out. didn't ign or fileplanet try something similar with psyops?

Costume Quest had buckets of charm and terrific humor. Played that game and the DLC, with all achievements for both.
Certainly both games had a bunch of charm, but the boring combat in Costume Quest wore thin very quickly for me. The only way I made it through the game was because it was extremely charming otherwise.

Stacking is more like an adventure game, but instead of collecting items, you are possessing dolls. I also didn't think it was all that difficult to come up with at least one of the solutions to the challenges presented. In fact, I liked the idea of coming up with more than one way to solve a puzzle.

I will agree that the combat in Costume Quest definitely started to wear thin.

Stacking frustrated me. Maybe I just wasn't thinking abstractly enough. I got to the third area of the game and just quit, but I would like to revisit.

Stacking and CC are at a nice price, but I'm sure sometime their bundle will also have Trenched, The Cave, and Adventure. I guess I have Adventure coming to me already. And I want them to survive, ok bought.

Caved and bought Assassins Creed 2: Deluxe.

I'm still debating Crysis. I hate to add too much to my backlog with Borderlands 2, Orcs Must Die 2, and Torchlight 2 around the corner, but Crysis feels like one of those games I really should've played by now...

Krater has a weak discount

Wooo!
Krater did just come out though, so that'd explain the lesser discount. Not sure that that'll matter though, I think a lot of people are basing their vote on which deal has the biggest percentage off (hence why Risen 2 got absolutely creamed in the last vote).

Is anyone else having trouble connecting within Steam? Or is it just me. It's happening to me in both the client and the browser. o.o
Old 07-17-2012, 11:52 AM   #98
Everyone please vote Krater!
Old 07-17-2012, 11:53 AM   #99
Excited by stacking. Hoping Krater wins - would like to give it a spin.

Same here, it started just with the community pages and now the store is also down.
