INSTRUCTIONS/ETC.

I was looking up Peaceful Warrior on Wikipedia, & found a Rotten Tomatoes page-link...& when I landed on the page, I received an offer to get a free movie for flixster if I placed something on my Facebook timeline (advertising the Flixster UltraViolet movie giveaway-a-thon deal). After doing this (& clicking on a small pop-up in the top-right corner of the page about the free movie), I received The Notebook. I'm not sure if it will be the same for everyone,

(EDIT: It's not.)

--but I just wanted to give everyone the heads-up.

I don't remember which movie I got when I first signed up, but that is the movie I got when I installed Flixster on my android phone.

Ah... Sorry about that. I just get a lot of deals & stuff from CAG, & whenever I find something to post about, by the time I get here, it's already been mentioned by someone else. Just don't know how this cheap-ass can contribute to the CAG community...sigh.

On another note, did you like the movie?

Understandable, I was just mentioning that you get a free movie as well when you install their app on your phone as well.

The movie is...emotional. That's the best way I can describe it since it's not my usual type of movie

Mmm. I wonder what the two different movies are then? Don't know, I don't have an IPhone or an Android...maybe someone can let me borrow theirs....maybe.

I got Austin Powers International Man of Mystery

I got mr. deeds. Shoo for a second I thought I got Austin Powers again which I got from that twitter promo a few days ago and again from walmart for converting my first vudu movie. Then it said I was getting Michael Clayton which they have all ready given me free also and I never had any interest in owning then after flixster loaded I had Mr. Deeds in my list.

Looks like at the end of my movie list it says I can get another free movie for installing the app to android or iphone which I am trying now.

yeah I just picked up demolition man from that. the second austin powers movie is part of the thing as well.

Thanks for this OP! I ended up getting 2 movies. A pop up came up and I was able to select my movie (went with Lethal Weapon) then I had a choice of 3 movies on the right as a "thank you" and selected The Shining. The other choices were The Iron Giant & Michael Clayton.

Saw a side ad advertising three movies, but kept getting error screens for them.

On the front of RT are options to download:
The Iron Giant
The Shining
Michael Clayton
Dog Day Afternoon

Did you uncheck receiving e-mails from Rotten Tomatoes? I did too at first and got the error screen. Then I checked to receive the e-mails and it worked.

It lets you select a different movie but it's not working.

EDIT: Nevermind, working but it took a few tries.

Thanks OP. Got 3 other movies by liking, tweeting and downloading the mobile app. Flixster is really going out of their way to try to gain an audience!

I just keep getting errors. The only option I saw for emails was a newsletter on the Account setting which I did click to subscribe. Did you have flixster setup beforehand?
