Dead - Best Buy never bothered to update the prices on Skyrim or Starcraft II. I don't know if the "sale" was cancelled or not so I'm putting this thread six feet under.

I just bought a vita 2 weeks ago to get the $60 GC offer which wasn't working so they just took the $60 off the $250 now I'll go get a pm for...Uncharted or Gravity Daze & the travel pouch.

Skyrim for $45 + $10 credit & 60 days to price match is tempting

So it's the fault of the PC gamers that Best Buy hands them shitty deals, got it. I did get Reckoning for $10 on PC so they're doing something right.

They go by the #'s so % wise they don't see the PC gamers purchases on par with consoles. It doesn't make sense since if they offered more deals then more people would buy.

The prices on those pc titles are complete garbage when compared to steams ongoing sale. It's stupid for them to even post prices like that when they're not even close to where you can get them elsewhere.

Then again, I shouldn't argue. Best Buy has certainly become an industry expert in knowing how little their customers buy from them.

The issue isn't that gamers don't speak up... it's that they can't directly compete with services like steam so they don't try. Amazon has been making HUGE strides toward competing with steam for sales. Best buy doesn't need to offer dirt cheap prices since they sell to the more casual (less in the know) crowd.

Also, as much as I dislike best buy, I've found that a lot of the times buying the physical disk from somemplace like target or BB ends up being a better deal that Steam (obviously, when Steam is doing it's crazy sales, they are better, but Steam isn't always having sales and there is no way to PM stuff you bought on Steam that goes on sale for 75% off the next day -- I feel like that is a good deal for the B&M stores still).

If you're a big Uncharted fan then Golden Abyss is amazing!
If you're looking for a really awesome and different Japanese experience, Gravity Rush.
I love both games honestly.
