DVO, I can't say I am as optimistic as you for our next matchup as that alternate story seems entirely too plausible for my liking.

I really wish my third down play was called in boundsit seemed like he got both feet in. And then fourth down he ran his route shorter than he was suppose to and came up short and ran out of bounds untouched. My last drive really hurt me like a big kick to the nuts. It was one of the best games ive played in this league so far. Although i didnt care much for the ending

The committee didn't really have a problem with this trade, but was concerned with the Pats taking on this big of a contract. Considering that, some felt one or even both of the picks wasn't necessary. I'm not sure if Hemingway's comment indicated that Carolina was willing to ACCEPT a pick being taken away...or just that New England didn't mind if either thing had to be done. Obviously, we need to know if Carolina would take less.

TRADE REJECTED

This is basically "The bvharris Blueprint" for a trade. While Lamar Miller seems to be a decent back to groom, Miami is giving up "the promise of tomorrow" and getting one of the best running backs in the game on a team that is already undefeated, with an owner who has proven himself to be a very good player (probably too good for this league). This is really a "rich get richer" trade.

The committee just really doesn't love the idea of trades revolving around that many draft picks. One point that was brought up is with the Dolphins already being 6-0, those picks are almost guaranteed to be near the very end of each round.

However, yet again, one committee member actually felt the Dolphins were giving up too much. I think the problem here is stemming from the trade involving so many draft picks and how people value them. But it just doesn't seem to be working for whatever reason.

Since Flyersfan is away until tomorrow, he gave me the okay to play the CPU and it was much closer than it needed to be. Jaguars ended up beating Oakland 13-10 in OT but I had several chances to win in regulation and just made stupid mistakes.

Just wondering, what is the rush on trading rice?

I don't object to the trade being rejected, but how can i have proven i'm too good for a league only 6 games in?

That's not what I meant. I meant why the big hurry to trade Rice.

Biggest bang for the buck, and I think he only has one year on his contract (and he is afraid of losing him after the year and having nothing to show for it).

Rice has five years left on his contract I believe.

Because you have been smoking people in the official league (both you and your brother have). Anybody who proves to be a serious contender in that league has no reason to play here. I'm not trying to get rid of you guys, but think about it. If you're hanging in there with the top players on CAG, you don't need to be playing in a league for people who are trying to learn the game.
