Okay, just booted up my Xbox and went into the FA screen, want to make sure I got this right.

I made offers to the 2 guys I never had a chance to resign, RT Jeremy Trueblood and WR Preston Parker. Didnt make offers to anybody else.

I looked around to see who was available and did notice one offer that seemed out of place to me, but they may be connected to trades that happened this year that I just missed so if thats the case then please disregard any of this. Jets had an offer to QB Matt Schaub. Did he get traded during the season?

Also, apparently even though in my resign screen it said Connor Barth was unavailable, the game decided to pay him $3.3 mil a year. Needless to say, he got cut real fast after seeing that.

I honestly don't think this 1 week exclusive rights thing is gonna keep many players from holding out for other offers. In my experiences offline, most players don't sign at the end of week 1 unless you really blow them away or they are a lower rated player. I imagine the low coach legacy scores won't do us any favors either.

Probably not but it's not going to hurt us either. Better to give people the chance to undo any EA screwing.

Well, they'd probably have to get a new football game for that, but you know what I mean.

Also, those signing people previously on their team are able to offer more years then what they are asking if that's an option.

So now that we've embarked on this crazy thing called free agency, can we talk about setting a draft date?

Hopefully it will be between Friday night and Sunday night. I could see Friday night or Saturday during the day being a good time. We will advance to week 2 of open FA tomorrow. Then Friday sometime week 3. Then to the week right before the draft I believe, which really could come a hour or two before the draft because it shouldn't take you that long anyway, which would be the last week to scout, and then the draft.

Yeah, I'm thinking/hoping that Sunday will be the day/night. Just to make sure we have enough time for all the other stages. I think the other league took less than 24 hours for the last round of free agency, right?

The I think the other league only took Friday-Sunday for all of the off-season.

Well I'm thinking that if we advance to Round 2 tomorrow around the same time, that puts us at Round 3 Friday night and Round 4 Saturday night. Hence why my guess is Sunday. Either way, I guess we'll have to see what's what.

Yes, but isn't round 4 just scouting? I don't see how that would take that long, I could be mistaken though. I don't remember exactly what order everything went in.
