Looks like the Jags are on bye this week. Not a bad start to the season. (4-2)

Let's stick with the 2-day advancement for now, seemed to go pretty smoothly this time. Given that it's mid-week now, we'll see if more flexibility it needed.

Not only is there no need for it, it's specifically banned in this league. Feel free to send him a message reminding him of this.

First and last warning, Mile High.

Clearly not my intention as I recall being chased quite closely and was attempting to dive. My apologies. It certainly was not intentional by any means.

Browns win 45-42 over the Steelers. Novak nailed a 46 yard field goal with no time remaining to grab the win. Trent Platt once again put in another huge performance racking up 220+ receiving yards and 3 TD's including two scores of over 45+ yards. Frank Gore for the Steelers was also big racking up over 100 yards on the ground in the loss. Good game.

I did not intend for that to happen and nor do I ever showboat. I tried to explain myself in my earlier post as it won't happen again. I have never show boated once in this league in the 12 games I have played. An isolated incident.

Denver Broncos 19 - San Diego Chargers 14

Another close low-scoring game for this new rivalry, as the Broncos manage to come away with a sweep of the season series, but only by a combined 11 points. It was all Broncos early, but their defense fell asleep to end the first half and allowed Ryan Mathews to rip off an 73-yard run as time expired. Just inexcusible on that one. The Chargers made it a game after that, and were even able to take the lead at one point, but the Broncos made a few more plays and their defense held firm on the Charger's final drive to seal the win.

Osweiler had a terrible game in this one, going 4 of 13 for 84 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs. Both picks were of the "heave it deep on 3rd down, basically a punt" variety, but that didn't much excuse his poor play.

Travis Hurns was pulled early in favor of Tajh Gray, who went 10 of 22 for 110 yards, 1 TD and 2 INTs.

McFadden carried 17 times for 129 yards and a TD, while McGahee continued to contribute basically nothing.

Mathews carried 11 times for 83 yards, though 73 of those came on his one TD run. He was pretty well bottled up otherwise.

VJax took his one catch 61 yards for the go-ahead TD late, no other Broncos receiver did much in this one.

Gates lead the Chargers with 3 catches for 47 yards, while Dozier had the TD.

Huge game from Von Miller, who had a sack, forced 2 fumbles (one of which he recovered himself) and he also stuffed Mathews for a loss on 4th-and-2 to end the Chargers' comeback win. Elvis Dumervil also had a sack, while Haden and Rahim Moore had the picks. Their DBs did have a bit of a case of dropsies in this one, as they had 6 or 7 picks go right off their hands.

The Chargers got sacks from Liuget and Martin and two picks from Kenny Phillips, though they lost him to injury late.

---
gg njrockpd! A couple of close ones for us so far, glad I could come away with the win both times.

Broncos move to 6-1, as well as 4-0 in the division. Next week's game against KC heading into the bye is a huge one, since they're looking at the chance of running away with the division.

I'm glad you're aware of it, since it's obviously something we take pretty seriously.

Sucks going against 8 amazing DBs in 2 weeks. Another heart breaking loss for the Chargers. Chargers GM NJrockPD has just released this statement.

Quote:
I'm talking to Rodger Goodell and other NFL officials to see if the Chargers could be moved out of the AFC West and into a more pass friendly division. San Diego QBs have recently been boycotting practice with the excuse of "What's the point?"
NFL councilors and other members of the NFL's Mental Health team have been working together trying to give Charger QB's reasons to play. Meetings are confidential, but an anonymous source stated they heard Chargers QB Tanner Hurns say to himself two weeks ago, "Yeah maybe there will be a stomach virus. Yeah that happens all the time! Yeah I bet if Aqib Talib gets it he'll surely pass it on to Brandon Flowers, Eric Berry, Stanford Routt, and Shyquawn Johnson! Johnson is good friends with Rahim Moore of the Broncos who may give it to Joe Haden, Champ Bailey, and Jason McCourty. Things are going to be O.K."
Quarterbacks Tanner Hurns and Taji Gray followed this pep talk with 7 ints and two losses.
GGs BV and Static (last two weeks)
