Does anyone know if TRU pre-orders pull the money out right away or sit on it until shipped?

Any other deals on Madden around this price? If not this seems like a bargain considering I don't have to pay sales tax either.

I would like to know this also. Another thing holding me back, isn't TRU the one that takes a week for the game to ship?

Edit: Just read, you do not pay for any item until it has shipped to you!

I prefer Amazon's deal on Madden.

You pay 60 but you're not paying tax then you get 15 dollars credit plus

So you're paying about 12 dollars more on Amazon's deal up front but then you're getting 15 in return and you can either keep the extras or sell them off on ebay for a few bucks.

I think that's better then Toys R Us and it's 48ish dollars

Thanks! In comparison to Toys that seems like a good deal. Any other solid deals out there?

The Skylanders deal stinks for me since all their toys are more expensive than Amazon (or anywhere else). Ran through checkout and it would cost me $10 *more* to buy two multipacks, even after 40% off but adding tax and shipping, than buying directly from Amazon. *sigh*

Right on and actually 30 dollars back if you do in store pick up. If you don't have to drive a distance, that's way better than amazon's deal. But thanks for the original post...there is no 20 dollars back on Risen 2 at BB so I just preordered from TRU-good deal!

For people who pre-ordered with ToysRUs before, can you cancel without penalty?

Good Madden deal imo, but no rush since it ends one day b4 the game is released,lol. Maybe if I'm lucky, Newegg will have a better pre-order deal :-)

Gamers club thing...yes. Also the 10 dollar credit you get when you do it as an in-store pick up(just make sure you pick up by the end of August or you will lose that). Also, yes I have cancelled TRU pre orders before, as well as returned the game I pre ordered in store...no problems either way.

Just to 2nd this is actually the best deal if your gamer's unlocked I dont feel bad spending $30 in credit on Madden no matter how rehashed it may be
