Finally got my hands on this!



I've already tried to order this twice before from other places, and they've arrived completely destroyed because of how the case is put together with the hard plastic on the inside. Usually arrives in pieces. Finally got it in one piece though. Happy days.

Spent $10 on Kingdom Hearts after my GS Credit, and the Unlocked GSM Galaxy Nexus was $378 after tax and shipping directly from Google.

If you remember from last thread, I had bought another Virgin Mobile phone , but after having to return 3 of those to bestbuy in a month, I said screw it, dropped virgin mobile, and for an extra $50 I got the unlocked Nexus (great phone! ) Now I'm on T Mobile pre paid paying $30 a month for 100 minutes of talk, unlimited text, And 5GB of 4G HSPA+ Data. Pretty good deal if you ask me!



My other pick up, about $165 "on sale" from Shopko. Its a futon for my room, its a lot nice than gaming in the folding chair I was using!

Did the other places refund you? You would think they'd simply send one back out to ya in a beefier container if that's the case :(

Yeah, they ended up just being returned and then getting a refund. But yeah, you would think they'd use more packing for something like this, but I guess unless the person packing it takes it out of the slipcover and then looks at the fragile plastic parts on the inside, they probably won't do anything extra to the padding, which is unfortunate. But at least I got one to arrive not broken, finally.

^^^ I'm with you. I'm an old fart when it comes to anime. I never hopped on the series/TV show bandwagon. I only do movies and things of that nature. That's really all we had in the early 90's. I think Akira and Robotech were the only choices in 1992 LOL!


Grabbed this shiznit. Batman for 10 bucks at Target and then 5 SPs (3x001, 2x101) and a PS2 slim. Untested, and I know two have cracked screens, but I've been making lots of front lit Neo Geo Pockets for folks lately, and I can't have too many front lights

And the first August pick-up, from ebay. I needed two replacement zords for my megazord set, and I found a complete used set for a decent price.

The Thunder Megazord? Yeah I have that. Hell, I already had this one but two of the zords got lost in the move and I needed replacements. I got it for a decent price though, relatively anyway.

I think I passed on that at a garage sale once for a few dollars. Should I have picked it up?

Yup, thats the one. Wow, lucky you. Power Rangers may be my all time favorite kid show. I remember almost every season, expect Turbo. Tried watching it recently through netflix and I just couldn't. I really liked the theme song though.

Got this new for $300 Is it bad I didn't get a warranty? I know MS has a one year warranty but the slims are supposed to work better right?

Warranty would have been a waste of money!

Turns out that I can't Frankenstein a good system from the lot, but all of the front lights work as do the two 101 screens. So, I'll be front lighting more NGPs for folks, and hopefully getting some backlit screens into the non-SP GBA as well

Its a 320gb Xbox, a kinect, a C3PO controller, and a star wars kinect game. And everything has cool star wars paint and sounds. If I didn't already have a slim, I'd be all over that.

I looked it up after posting. Pretty cool set!
