Newegg Pre Order FAQ

Important Information:
-The "Release Date" will be listed at the top of the items' description page.
-Your credit/debit card will not be charged until your pre-ordered item is in stock and ready to ship.
-You can void your pre-order before it has been processed.
-Once your item is in stock, your pre-order will be converted into a sales order. You will then receive regular order status emails as your order is processed.
-If you purchase an in-stock item with a pre-order item, you will be charged accordingly for the available product and the difference when your pre-ordered item is in stock and ready for shipment.
-Pre-ordering is not currently available for items offered for purchase from Newegg Marketplace sellers.

How to check the status or cancel a Pre-order:
-Log into your Newegg account at the top right of the Newegg webpage.
-Enter your Newegg Login ID and password. (If you do not remember your Newegg Login ID or password select the "Forgot your password" link.)
-Click on your name at the top right of the Newegg webpage.

Would have went for New Super Mario 2, but they're charging $5 shipping on that one for some reason. Will have to continue to think about it before I checkout.

By the way, is this locked to accounts? I got the email, but was just wondering if I could use the code on other accounts too. Also, what happens if you need to cancel/change part of your order later?

Yeah the thing that sucks is if you want to change anything its probably going to be a hassle. I would order 25 games but if I decide I dont want a couple it looks like the only easy option is to cancel the entire order.

I just ordered Ni No Kuni and a couple Halo 4 LEs. Would have ordered a lot more if I knew I could change the order later.

Edit: Holy shit I didnt know just about every game worked. I thought it was just the ones on the list the email linked to. In for Kingdom hearts CE, Luigis Mansion 2, Animal Crossing, and Virtues Last Reward for 3DS. So glad I read this thread before placing that order.

Doesn't work for a pre-order on Dream Drop for KH, and too bad the Pokemon games just fall a bit short.

Is $10 off really a good deal? It use to be $12 (on select preorders)

I know newegg opened it up to all preorders but I just don't think $10 off is a good deal. maybe on some handheld games with $39.99 prices but not on console games.

Got Dragon's Crown for Vita, can't wait for it to come out!

For some reason it doesn't work with Kingdom Hearts 3D, New Super Mario Bros, Castlevania Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate or Theatrhythm, but does work with the Collectors edition of KH, Luigi's Mansion, and Paper Mario 3DS.

No not really a great deal on most of the games. I think the $39.99 games are good deals, and some of the higher priced ones are ok (like Halo 4 LE) but the regular $59.99 games probably aren't a very good deal. I just got Ni No Kuni figuring there won't really be any other deals for it.

Good find. I pre-ordered Ragnarok and Persona 4 on Vita.

This may take some of the bite out of those who were miffed by the earlier $12 off Newegg preorder code that turned out to be e-mail specific.
