Anyone have any feedback, good or bad, on the Call of Duty MW3 bluetooth headset / earpiece for 360? I need a new headset and $30 seems much better than the $50 I've seen the 360 branded wireless headset go for on amazon. It's $30 here but also on amazon so I'm not necessarily rushed to get it tomorrow... thoughts anyone?

What? I never whined about the 2.28 GH shipping charge, thats totally fine with me. Go back and re-read my post; my problem was not with the shipping cost, but with the fact that if I ordered the huge boxed MK: Kollector's Edition, it might come all beat up and in poor condition. I never said ANYTHING about their shipping charge, which would have been fine with me. Reading comprehension is not your greatest skill, is it?

Well, to insert some little benefit to the Wii, Nintendo did bring all the necessary tools that are copied by this generation's systems did it not?

The only reason the system failed is because Nintendo took the WWE route and tried to force PG down our throats, and unlike on the Gamecube, it simply did not work.

Trust me. The Wii wasn't a failure.

If by "tools" you mean motion controls, Nintendo certainly did "pioneer" those on a console, but unfortunately that console was so low-tech and poorly implemented, it didn't work out too well. Most of the games were full of crappy waggle with lousy controls, and low-res ugly graphics to boot. And although MS and Sony copied motion controls with the Kinect and Move (and did it much better than Nintendo's poorly implemented pre-motion+ controller), I don't think those add-ons were much more than gimmicks, and I also don't think they were very successful. At least we got HOTD: Overkill on PS3 in proper higher-resolution, with a decent motion control (gun) peripheral, and a few other OK games; but I must say both Kinect and Move are much less than impressive.

Well, that depends on who you ask. I remember standing in line for one at launch, now I wouldn't buy one from a crackhead on the streets for 25 because there is nothing for me on it.

I killed over waiting on Skyward Sword, yet it is in my backlog.

Couldn't wait for Donkey Kong, yet haven't played even the demo.

On Gamecube, Smash Bros. All Day, Every Day. On Wii, Smash Bros...... Sometimes, but not so far in this year.

I just hate they didn't put more effort into it. But numbers don't lie so Nintendo did make a killing, just not as much as they could

Case in point is this game, the top two critic scores are 100s, and the sites that gave those scores are "Wii Brasil" and "Nintendo Life". Knock out those overblown scores and it isn't going to have as high a Metacritic score, and besides; everyone knows that no Wii port will ever even remotely come close to the PS3 and 360 versions of the same game; it just ain't possible. The hardware is too weak to compete.
I agree that the differences in review sources can obviously skew the score - although GameRankings is actually closer: 91 Wii, 89 360. I'd call it a tie.

However, I think it's myopic to simply look at the hardware (i.e., processing/graphics). The Wii has a unique control scheme (especially compared to games that weren't designed for Move or Kinect), and that can have a significant impact (pro or con) on gameplay.

And believe me, I never meant to pour fuel on the console/fanboy wars. I made an innocuous post (I thought), came back and few hours later and... Shoulda known better. Forgive me.

Nintendo Wii has outsold 360 and PS3 so how is it a failure? The only negative to the Wii is that the virtual console library is only good instead of great and that every game didnt support the classic controller or classic controller pro.

And people shouldnt bash Nintendo because if it wasnt for the big N, none of us would be having this conversation. Nintendo resurrected gaming after Atari killed it and them dumping Sony created Playstation and seeing their success caused Microsoft to join in on the fun with Xbox so quite simply, whether you want to look at it as positives or negatives, it was because of what Nintendo did or didnt do that lead us gamers to where we are.

Only thing that Nintendo didnt do is rip us off with on-disc DLC, day one DLC, DLC in general and all these online passes, requiring Xbox Live Gold for apps and all this other stuff.

Basically, if the gaming industry ever crashes again, it will be because of all this digital online crap and the fact that once games go all digital, us consumers will be screwed more times than a porn star and there wont be a damn thing we'll be able to do about it.

On the bright side though, I have no doubt in my mind that if that ever happens, it will be Nintendo who resurrects the industry for a second time.

Yes the Wii has a "unique" control scheme, but unfortunately in its implementation it is more an annoyance than a benefit. The Wii motion controls (pre-motion+) are so poor that you can basically just swing the remote around sloppily and play games just fine. That to me is not a good way to control a game. They released Motion+ add-ons later (and motion+ Wii remotes), but because it was an optional add-on, and didn't come with the original Wii, it was barely supported at all by developers. They mostly stuck with the gimped pre-motion+ control scheme to make the games "easier" to play. In golf for example, you can just swing the remote any way you want, and it will hit the ball for you and pretend you actually did something. Same with bowling, and most other Wii games. Kinect and Move provided more accurate motion controls, but to be honest even those were underwhelming.

They suckered MILLIONS of casuals (people who would never have even considered buying a console or games) into buying the Wii, and many of them bought the system, a few games, and after playing a little, left it to collect dust. I know many people who did just that.

Bottom line, Nintendo seems to feel that they have to incorporate SOME kind of gimmick into whatever console they release, to give it an "edge" over the competition, since their hardware is woefully inadequate. It worked for the Wii, but thats done now. It didn't work for the 3DS, thus the huge price cut and a big monetary loss on ever unit sold (still to this day).

I miss the Nintendo Fun Club. Did you guys know Steve Wozniak used to submit Tetris scores to Nintendo Power? Those were the days...

It wasn't your fault. You asked a perfectly legit question. But haters gonna hate.

After checking with my local stores and BB.com, i've come to the conclusion that at least in my area, the Dead Rising 2: Off the Record for Xbox is discontinued and no longer for sale. No one could find the SKU, since it is no longer in their systems.

Does anyone have this Driver: San Francisco game? If so, do a lot of people still play online?
