Good podcast, but it could be a bit longer. Also, can I have a Hybrid code?

I don't want a code, but I liked the chilled out introspective Wombat more than the devil's advocate Wombat. It felt like he was being contrary with Cheapy just for fun for months.

Shipwreck, you should do a cloud sync with the PS3 version of Sound Shapes and you will immediately have your second platinum.

When I mentioned Rock Band Blitz as a better choice for summer of arcade and Wombat said it wasn't ready, it was reported that Rock Band Blitz passed certification on June 30th...over 2 weeks before Hybrid passed certification. I don't know if that is definitely true, but that's why I included it.

Also, I would like free Hybrid...I guess.

Congrats on your first platinum trophy, Ship! I'm downloading Sound Shapes right now, and I'm holding you responsible for my enjoyment.

Why doesn't Sony regulate trophies? I didn't think a psn game, especially one as short as Sound Shapes would be platinum eligible. There are retail games without platinum.

If that's a critical enough comment, I would like to have a Hybrid code. I sure don't won't to pay for it.

Not to argue over semantics, but Guam is actually the closest U.S. territory to Japan. I lived there not too long ago, and there were TONS of Japanese tourists who came to vacation. It's definitely not as big as Hawaii, but the climate is very similar and the beaches are amazingly beautiful. It also has the best strip clubs I've ever been to.

Have you guys ever thought of vacationing there?

I have bad news and I have good news. The bad news first: I didn't select your answer as a winning Foosball answer as you didn't pick a specific platform and instead listed both. The good news: The code you would have won didn't end up working for the person who did win it anyway.

I bought Sound Shapes and still haven't played it for either console. But the praise it keeps getting is pretty overwhelming. I'll check it out this weekend.

btw, I would like Hybrid. Random drawing ftw.

You can avoid a lot of frustration in SSX just by not bothering with the levels that are filled with death pits. The game is huge so there is still tons to see and do, even if you restrict yourself to the 70% of the levels that aren't filled with annoying crevasses.

I got the platinum trophy, but in Explore mode there are several levels I only played once or twice.

Cheapy, I was born and raised in Tokyo and my Japanese mom used to warn me not stare at the crows or they will peck your eyes out. Must be a Japanese woman thing...
