eBay top seller (red shooting star and 105,861 feedback score as of right now) has SNES style Wii classic controllers for sale. It's $9.95 with $4.50 shipping ($14.45 shipped). This is a third party controller, not the Club Nintendo one. But considering the CN one is selling for between $70-$100 on ebay, this could be a nice alternative. There are "more than 10 available" and so far 117 have been sold. Lots of details on the seller in the description of the item if anyone is wondering. I know a lot of people wish Nintendo brought the official one to the US Club Nintendo, so I figured some might be interested in this.

Think I'm gonna pass.

Is it me, or do the X and Y buttons look concave? Of which they are convex on a Super Famicom. Pass. I'd rather just get the converter.

They are concave. The US SNES controller has concave buttons there.

It is the same one being sold on ThinkGeek for $10 more.

I think it's absolutely insane that nintendo never sold these, even just through their website. They would have sold a few hundred thousand at least.
