TL2 is cheaper at $20 compared to Diablo's $60 but Blizzard seems to be updating the game a lot. As much as I dislike the always-online drm, it seems that Blizzard is really using the data at least. I enjoyed the original TL, Diablo 2 and Titan Quest. Is TL2 just a bigger TL? |

In the long run it will probably see more content, but lack the tight, more hardcore nature of Diablo III. (Hardcore as in highly competitive, not hardcore as in you die once and lose your character. Both games have that.) |

TL2 will be an autobuy for me if they ever implement 360 controller support. I work on a computer from 7:30-5 6 days a week I can't come home and click a mouse a million times for fun.

I bit on the $16 deal steam key deal from Gamefly -- made a new gamefly account just to use 1GFT82012 again.

Man, been playing the hell out of Borderlands 2 since I have nothing else to do recovering from surgery. According to Steam I put 44 hours into it so far, but I'd say 3 hours were just afk as I would eat lunch or take a 10 min break here and there. I'm not sure how close to the end I am but I think I am close, probably a few more hours and I'll have it beat. I've done every side mission and explorer and loot everything
Fun game, playing as the Siren again, though Maya isn't as good as Lilith, she is still cool. I really hope Gearbox puts the original characters out as DLC, I'd be Lilith ASAP, she is/was by far my fav class, I didn't like any of the original classes besides her actually. I plan to try Zero out after beating BL2 though. Anyways, great game, if you liked Borderlands 1, you'll love too. More of the same, with just more of everything and lots of nods of mentions of stuff from the first one. While the first one didn't really have much of a story, all of its characters had their own thing and such if you found the echo devices and did the side quests, in BL2 they make reference to a lot of that stuff which just puts a smile on my face while playing |

I don't play any game whatsoever with keyboard/mouse, but Torchlight wouldn't make much sense with a controller, even I play that game with a mouse. I mean if they turned into some kind of twin stick shooter controls that could be great, but the game isn't really set up that way. I think that'd be the only good way to controler-ize it.

My policy on BL2 co-op is mostly single player for sidequests, and co-oping more linear events like the story missions or the slaughter domes. The story missions are pretty long and linear, and pretty awesome with 4 players, with less chances for people to rush ahead of you and trigger 6 different sidquests or get lost exploring too much. I'll likely be playing my alts as straight co-op.

Or you know Dark Souls.... I've never seen a game just destroy kb/m set ups quite like it. I mean the faster you move the mouse the slower the screen rotates and vice versa. And for some reason they used the END key to go to the menu. I understand nearly no developer besides those of visual novels in japan make PC games, but really? The END button?!?!? |

I'm gonna have a really hard time figuring out what to use with a controller and what to use with a mouse. I love FPSs with an Xbox controller, yet they also work pretty damn good with kb/m. A lot of FPS games just don't feel right with a controller either... What is everyone using for BL2?
I've got a nice Razer 360 controller and a rather crappy mouse though, so it looks like it's time to start looking for a gaming mouse. Any suggestions? (I guess I'll probably get another Razer.)

So yeah, don't let the KBM requirement keep you from such an awesome game. |
