Pretty sure Tony has confirmed an XCOM deal for black friday over at Amazon.

XCOM requires Steam.

Steam's sales on recently released stuff are usually pretty lackluster. Even poorly performing stuff. Usually best to wait for an MSRP drop and then couple that with a sale.

Wait is Serious Sam: The Random Encounter not steam compatible when you buy it from Gamestop's site sale? -.-

Yeah, it coincided with the KF Halloween event which lasted through the 6th, and the zeds should be reskinned (or deskinned) back to normal.

I never liked that its past holiday achievements can't be obtained, but I still love the game.

They updated it this year so you could get last years Halloween Achievements. I was able to unlock the Commando Chicken.

Decided to get SS3. Price seemed too good to pass

Seems pretty good for those looking to get it early

I finished Vice City today. I finally went back to beat Avery's RC copter mission and all the other heli flying paid off. After I did all the Hatian and Cuban missions the endgame unlocked. I think I was at 53% complete at the time.

I bought all the properties, collected the Sunshine Autos list, had 76 hidden packages, and wanted to do all the missions but The Driver was too annoying. It, The Job, Phil's missions, and the boatyard were left. After ending the main story and stealing a hunter I kind of felt I saw everything there was to see.

I wish the world would have been more alive as you went then less. When you're the most armed there is the least to do. Driving around to collect money you can't spend isn't fun and I stopped after buying all the properties. Sunshine should have stocked every car to buy on a whim so you could easily compare all the feel.

The endgame should feature things like gang wars and them trying to overthrow you and take your properties. Also random police raids. So kind of an ongoing Cap the Collector. It would keep giving you things to do.

Anyway, it was a great experience with a couple hick-ups. Loved the story, the soundtrack, the rampages. 30 hours playtime and I'm done for now.

You'll have fun. I think people start to get burnt out seeing Batman: AA or Metro 2033 for $4.99 for the -nth time but, if you don't have them then they are still fantastic deals. After a couple big sales (not to mention sales elsewhere) you have most of the low-hanging fruit for 75% off and are looking at newly released games discounted a mere 33% and saying "This is so lame! Where's the big sales?!"
