I would assume the multiplayer is pretty quiet. I liked WfC much more than FoC. The single player felt more fun and I didn't like the changes they made to Escalation (ie Horde) mode. FoC did have a more variety and felt more exciting single player.

Bethesda is notoriously conservative when it comes to sale prices so you could maybe hope for 66% off come the Winter Sale but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I assume it's because I log-in to Steam with US and Puerto Rico IP addresses (for some reason AT&T's 4G network in Puerto Rico gives me an IP address in Georgia). I've tried logging in using the country code fix (i.e. http://store.steampowered.com/?cc=pr), and that doesn't work. I've also tried using IE, firefox, chrome, resetting my computer, resetting my internet connection, and logging in through 3 different computers. I sent a Steam support ticket yesterday around noon (mentioning that I had tried to login using the PR country code), and just got my reply. All they told me to do was use that country code fix - it's like they didn't even read my email. It's really frustrating - I traded in a lot of my XBox 360 games at Gamestop for steam codes to focus on PC gaming and I don't want to pay using any other method.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Ya figure the same, im thinking, daily today and flash sale of same % last day idk. Im so cheap. Im sure it will be same discount during winter. Meh maybe ill just hold out.

I wouldnt assume that. I had the same thing happen yesterday or weds. I just waited a few minutes, refreshed the store page, saw my cart was empty, checked my library and had the games.

When in doubt exit and restart the steam client. Then check your library.

So in a couple days I'm going to end up with a serial number for Assassin's Creed 3 for steam that I don't really want. Would anyone be willing to trade it for Skyrim + the DLC? I ask cause it's on sale at the moment so you'd be saving a few bucks on the deal.

Thanks for the suggestions. It looks like it was just a problem with one game, Time of Shadows (I'm a sucker for cheap RPG's). I tried to buy all the items in my cart 1 by 1 and all of the others worked.

Opinions on the Thief series?

Looks like Steam is just going to telephone this one in. I can't think of one title that was not offered for the same amount or less before or during this sale.

I guess my I'll have more money to spend on friends and family. yay, woo

I can think of plenty. It just gets harder to find sales to be excited about when you own a good chunk of the catalog already.

To anybody that has Saints Row The Third, is it optimised for a wide range of pcs like sleeping dogs is? I'd get it but I'm worried if my pc could play it or not. Reason I mention sleeping dogs is I can play that demo fine.

You know, I kind of want the new King's Bounty game but at $15 I just can't bring myself to do it.

It's 1C. You know that damned game is going to be 32 cents in some bundle someday.
