Ordered one at my local comic store. Full price but worth it in my eyes.

It's now sold out at the book depository. I should've bought more than 2, the CE sold out very quickly and the quantities are very limited...

It wasn't just Amazon that cancelled a lot of pre-orders, it was every retailer (Barnes & Noble, Book Depository, and Amazon's UK site being the 3 biggest). Those artbooks are now selling for $500+ on eBay.

I'm still incredibly pissed at the Amazon rep that told me that he confirmed my item was being packed and would be shipped soon. I got the delay email the following the day. I hope that shit er got fired.

yea figures as much. i really dont know how everyone botched that so badly.

on the bright side i saved 88 dollars and have one last thing taunting me

Dark Horse has Nintendo World Store listed to have copies for sale.

You'd probably have to camp out the store just to get a copy. :x

You might be in the lucky few. I didn't order mine until it dropped in price again on Nov 26th. Shows cancelled on Nov 30.

My B&N order has been canceled.

I had originally pre-ordered at Barnes and Noble but cancelled and ordered at TFAW when I realized that the item was already sold out at Amazon, there were only 4000 total, and that you could place 999 of them in your shopping cart when the item was in the top 100 bestsellers on the site. I even tried calling them and their customer service was atrocious (I was put on hold for 7 minutes and then asked to call back again because there was a lot of static on their end). I feel bad for all the people that are getting their orders cancelled.

Well my B&N canceled (ordered on Nov. 27th, canceled on Nov. 30th); never really wanted this (original or CE)...but after getting my order cancelled I need to have the CE. It seems like the only option would be to wait on ThinkGeek's possible release and maybe Forbidden Planet UK (source http://www.darkhorse.com/Blog/1195/h...imited-edition).

Also, this video from Gametrailers rekindled my interest in Zelda lore (spoilers).

I always assumed that Zelda series didn't really have a canonical storyline, I guessed wrong.

*edit* it seems like there might be a possibility of ordering it from a local B&M comic book store, use http://www.comicshoplocator.com/Home/1/1/57/575. Guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow.
