Amazon regular edition, wasn't lucky enough or fast enough to get in on limited edition one.

My LE copy status still hasn't changed. Tempted to sell it along with my copy of the Zelda collection disc that came with gamecubes way back when. Be nice to make enough money to cover all game purchases this yr which aren't tooo many.

Awesome how this situation worked out cause back on black Friday amazon was giving $25 for max Payne 3. Bought two @$7.99 each and traded them in then used that credit to pay off the LE hyrule historia . Could get lucky and turn $16 into $250!!!

It says it'll be released on Jan 29th, but people are already getting shipping notices?

Mine still says not yet shipped with Prime 2 day.

I am so ridiculous lol. I've only played TP and OoT, so I'm not really as invested into the series as most, but I'm still bummed I missed out on the LE. At least I still have my Skyward Sword bundle that I haven't even played yet...first world problems over here.

I'm not sure which version you are waiting on, but I think everyone that has had one shipped so far has a regular edition. My LE has had no status change and is still listed as 2/13 or something from Amazon.

My regular edition still is not hit shipping soon either, but since I am prime, I expect it to either late tomorrow afternoon or monday afternoon. No reason to panic yet

Oh no, I'm pro-conversation haha. I guess I'm just a little nitpicky nowadays when it comes to deal threads and reading posts about people trying to flip for profit and posting their entire plan as they "type out loud". I try not be a spoiled sport about it though, because admittedly some of those plans are a bit ingenious and I was guilty of it once lol. It's more of a "that's cool dude, just keep it to yourself" type of attitude.

Anywho, I'm still debating on pre-ordering one. I'm just lamenting missing out on the CE and wondering if there's a glimmer of hope I could actually get one somewhere, somehow with no price gouging :/

So the limited edition just gets you the gold foil edges and a leather cover, right?

I don't see the LE selling for over $200 in the near future once the preorders start shipping. I almost doubt that the sold ebay listings are even legitimate. Could be resellers staging to pump the price or just scammers playing around. Or maybe some of you falling for the hype.

It's not like it's even signed or numbered or anything. If my preorders end up getting cancelled, I would probably just forget about getting it, but not pay more than $80-$100 if I changed my mind and just had to get one for some reason. The regular is practically the same thing, so the farther it goes above $20, the harder it is to swallow for slight cosmetic changes.

This is what I'm trying to tell myself. A couple cosmetic changes and the opening page saying it's a limited copy of 4,000. I'm also wondering if this is the end all be all of Zelda art books readily available for the person with a selective and tight budget.

It all comes down to what you want. If you want to have a leather looking book on your coffee table when people come over, or you want a ordinary hard back.

Some people buy target sun glasses, some buy Oakleys. Some people value bang for the buck, some value image.

It just all comes down to what you want. Most people buy Collectors editions to display them. No one really wants to display a normal hardback book.

Any chance a B&M store will have the LE?

Yeah, I was talking about the regular edition. Even now, it says released date is Jan 29 if you search for it... or does it say something else for you guys?

They had it listed back when this was announced but I think they canceled everyone's pre-orders after a few weeks. At least, I think they canceled everyone's pre-orders... I've asked a few times but never saw anyone respond saying that they had a active pre-order for the LE at B&N.

B&N was listed by Dark Horse as an official retailer for it so... who knows?
