Also, I ordered a second 3DS watch just now (why can I do that since I already have orders placed?) and delivery estimate is the 26th. My older orders show the 29th.

Exact same situation with me regarding the second 3DS copy. Not going to think about it too much, since all I wanted was two 3DS versions anyway. You just have to hope nobody abuses it (I'm sure someone will though).

I really doubt these are from a new production run. Maybe Aksys let some go that they were planning on saving for giveaways or their own store, but Amazon has a tendency of holding stock until right before release date. Failed credit card checks probably account for a few copies too.

If you don't have an estimated delivery date yet, I would order another one first to check. The new order I just placed says it should arrive on the 26th. You can cancel your old one then.

We now have delivery date(s) for the order you placed on September 17, 2012 (Order# ): "Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward (with Pre order bonus item)" Estimated arrival date: October 26, 2012

Well in my cart it still says the same thing, they'll email me for an estimated delivery. Maybe its a location thing or something? It says the same thing for every shipping speed.

I think I'll just stick with my current one, better safe than sorry. And yep, ordered the second with free shipping as opposed to one day, still the same message. What the heck Amazon?

Aksys said that they will start shipping out to distribution centers on the 23rd so the earliest that Amazon will realistically get it is the 24th. If they do indeed get it on that day, people will most likely have it in their hands on the 25th-26th range.

That's really weird, don't think anything like that has ever happened to me before. Maybe call Amazon C/S and see if they know anything about why you have no set date (I realize they're useless sometimes, but it probably wouldn't hurt)?

Yeah, that and it doesn't show up in the search.. I had to use a direct link to get to the page. Something doesn't seem right, I'm not sure if you'll be getting the watch if you order it right now.

Well according to Amazon I should see my order on the 25th or 26th, guess I'll stick with that. Everything seems fishy to me

No, amazon gets it the 24th, I get it the 26th with prime.

My order history shows it as the preorder bonus item version, so unless they send out a correction email before it ships, I figure I have that as a defense if I want to return it without paying for the shipping. Product not as described and all that. This is the reason why I'm keeping my first order though, instead of canceling and ordering 2 copies right now for the estimated 26th reception date.

Wth, I order the 3ds version but now it says it's for vita o_O

I like the case that the watch comes in but I'm still concerned about the quality of the watch. I'm guessing more people are buying it for collector's sake than actually wearing it, but who knows Also seems fishy with cancelled pre-orders and them putting the game back up again.

I imagine it went something like this:

Amazon: hey, we need some more watches to fulfill our original batch of orders.
Aksys: On their way
Sept 17th
Amazon: Ok, we put up another round of preorders!
Aksys: uhhh.. those were for the original orders
Amazon: what.....?

Vita still has no date

Does anyone still have the 999 watch? How's the quality of it?

To be fair, I don't think the page for the watch versions is accessible through normal searching on Amazon. They'll probably send out emails later to the people who received those watch cancellation ones earlier in the week, telling them about the restock. I only had the link because it was still in my cart.
