I've been waiting for a decent price on the Lego Batman 2 game. Looks like I'll be waiting some more. Maybe it'll go $19.99 or less for Black Friday.

I'm definitely interested in Sleeping Dogs and Lego Batman 2 but think I might just wait til Black Friday. I probably wouldn't get to play them much til Christmas break anyways.

why do the Turtle Beach headsets always show up during these gold box events?

Likely either they have a high markup and can be discounted w/o too big of a loss with the quantity sold, or TB just gives Amazon enough ad comp to make up the difference?

If $39.99 is the lightning deal for Sleeping Dogs, I wonder how they are going to pull that off.

It's going to be really awkward considering they price matched BB and it's already at $39.99. I guess they will raise it back up tonight, then put it back to $39.99 for the deal tomorrow? They are gonna look really shady if so.

There's a website that tracks amazon prices and they've done that a LOT. Usually it's not an over night switch.... That used to be how people figured out what deals were coming up.

Amazon went down hill real fast...NewEgg has about 9-10 pre-orders of mine. I have one at BestBuy and I even picked up Borderlands 2 at Gamestop (even though I can't stand shopping there because they charge you full price if you don't pick up within 2 days).

Amazon got rid of Release Day Shipping, has awful sales with very little incentive to shop with them and just seems like they have totally given up on their video game sales in general. I remember seeing $20 credits, better pre-order items and just overall better deals...It's a shame since I used to be a loyal customer but this was a long time coming.

Deals on their site are still more than what you can find elsewhere, and give it 1-2 months and all of these games will be half-price when the bigger titles and black friday hit the scene...

Kinda agreeing with you.. I think I'll just shop with them on black friday and such from now on because they got a screw loose..
