Mine is in the "Shipping soon" status from amazon. Ordered last may.

Dang it!
Still no shipping confirmation from Amazon.
I ordered when it was up for a day a few weeks ago.

I ordered an LE from bestbuy.com back in June with next day shipping. The poster shipped but the game is still showing as processing. It's even saying I can still cancel it. Starting to get worried here...

Amazon always does this for big releases. The order will switch to shipping soon sometime Sunday or Monday. You usually don't get the email until very late Monday or early Tuesday. The game still shows up on Tuesday 99% of the time and yet people always freak out like Amazon is some shady site. They do it this way because they have a lot of orders and they don't want the orders showing up early.

I'd love for you to be right but most of my Amazon orders for Tuesday delivery would have shipped by now. *shrug* It's disappointing but I'll live.

Really? Figured you would have yours buy now then. I placed my order on October 11 when the LE edition came back in stock on Amazon for a few hours.

Yeah same with me, I'm receiving the Halo 4 poster today, but the game has yet to ship.

If you can find the Gears of War 3, Halo Reach, or any of the Call of Duty launch day posts you'll see the same thing. I've been through a lot of big game launches with Amazon and it's always the same thing. Small games are different or games that have been out. Chances are your game has already shipped, or they are sending it via overnight. They do it this way because they have a large volume of emails to send out. So the system gets backed up. They also don't want the game arriving early because they don't to get fined or punished.

With normal orders you would have a shipping notice by now, but that's because Amazon isn't sending out thousands upon thousands of emails for the same product like they are with Halo 4.

This isn't my first preorder rodeo with Amazon. I received Gears 2 (yes 2) a day early. Halo Reach on release day. etc etc etc. I'd love for you to be right but my account is yet to be charged. I doubt very seriously Amazon would send a game for which they haven't collected any money.

Anyone know if BB and GS have the same SKU? My bb isn't doing midnight launch but GS is I'd rather return to GS to keep my reward zone $20 bonus.

Hmmm... It would seem that this is now available again from GameStop. I just placed an order, so we'll see what happens.

They usually send the emails the morning before.

No, but I got an e-mail for my regular edition to be picked up tomorrow. Wondering what the delay is on the LE.

(Pre-ordered both, as I'm not sure I actually want the LE at this point. Figured I'd hedge my bets. In a related note, if anyone is looking for an LE, I'd be happy to sell mine at cost + shipping. Just drop me a PM.)

Well, I got my tracking number from Newegg now so I am happy. It's shipped in the same state that I live in (CA) so I hope I get it tomorrow. If not, I don't mind waiting since I got it about $10 cheaper.

Just got my shipping notice about the LE that I sold on Ebay. It'll be to my buyer tomorrow as expected
