Haha, I've gotten a similar response when I pointed out the games they are selling without a case before. Had an employee tell me that "the games not in cases were games that were in the wrong cases so they had to manually put them in new ones in the store."

I laughed and asked them if they normally open up everything that comes sealed from a warehouse to make sure that everything inside is right. He looked really confused, so that's when I informed him that all the pre-owned games are actually shipped from a warehouse where they are resurfaced and re-packaged/shrink wrapped. He had a sort of "How do you know that look?" on his face. He was also the same employee that tried to say my passport wasn't an official form of ID, that the passport number would be rejected cause the system automatically checks to make sure the drivers license number is valid, and then later in the same convo claimed that the system couldn't check the number. I haven't seen him in that store again actually... guessing he didn't last very long.

nothing worse than a dumb lazy employee. I wonder if they let seasonal workers take trade ins?

I took 20+ DS games in a few weeks ago...
Lady supervisor (that is always in a bad mood), walked up during a very long trade in experience for me (staff member kept stopping to talk to other staff, other customers, etc... and after entering the last game hit the wrong entry... and woop had to start all over...) She very rudely asked him (I was 2 feet away...) Where are all the cases for these?
I jumped in and said "we stored them in a cartridge game case bought here" She shut up and walked away...
IF they change the policy, they need to rethink the product mix that includes storage cases...

Yup. Be patient and make a good relationship with your local stores so that they are more likely to be nice to you when you need something down the road.

My story was from well before the holiday seasonal employee period, so he was just lazy/dumb.

The employees at my closest BB are pretty good though and totally patient when I explain to them what other employees have had to do when using my passport.

Darn, making what is probably my last BB run of the holiday season. Thought I finished AC3 last night and would be able to trade it in today when I pick up FarCry 3, but those stupid pivots seem to have some kind of story significance and I don't want to trade it in until I'm done with all the story stuff.

How long does it usually take for a big release to have a trade in value?

Damn man, I dont think they plan on adding WiiU games for a while

So true dude. I'm waiting on a return to 100% promo before trading some games in. Just gotta finish some of those first.

Anybody do a Gift Card purchase of a Visa Gift Card recently? Did they give you any trouble?

So while picking up FC3, I rechecked the signage and it definitely says 50% runs until 12/25. Snapped a pic too.

I saw this too but BB has been changing the % at will even when the signs/ads say different like on Thanksgiving week up till that Weds.

Fully agree, I'm working on getting something posted on the forus page that will go a long way towards making the 100% a perm. thing which should make everyone happy but it'll require some give & take to get such an epic "always on" reward.

This particular sign reflected that. It said 50% valid from 11/22-12/25, which was when the promo changed over. We'll see but we have another 2 weeks of 50% regardless.

remember the ad from thanksgiving week was for 50% but the 100% didn't end till that Weds. & IIRC the BB app stated 100% was to end 12/4 at one point too. Even when it's in stone(print) BB has made changes LOL & 2 weeks is a while for them at least.

Anyone know how much I get for the PS3 Wireless 7.1 Wireless Headset that came out last year? Don't see a place to search for Game Accessories.

$25 base for Nintendo Land, time to trade it in!
