No. BBY doesn't PM bundle deals (B2G1 is a bundle).

Though it never hurts to ask.

Will be heading to BBY in a bit to see if I can do some pre-orders paid in full to get in on the B2G1. For anyone who did this with pre-orders that they picked up Tuesday, how are your pending points looking? Do you have the bonus 1000 pending from MOH?

I've always been confused by this. Numerous people have given their success of BBY PM'ing TRU's "buy 2 get a $40-50 free" deal when they randomly have them; but BBY won't PM a B2G1?

Almost seems the same thing to me...

Best Buy should not PM ANY bundle/free gift deal. Some store do anyway. Those are exception to the rule.

The policy is they are NOT supposed to. But managers can override and make exceptions.

That's why when you see someone tell their "success" story you get a bunch of people that say they weren't supposed to, basically it sets up unreal expectations.

PM excludes bundles. Any item that includes another item (a second sku) is classified under either "bundle" or "free gift with purchase" which is excluded in the PM policy.

That said some store managers override it.

I have not checked back at this thread too much lately.

Was there any further word on those that got it working with preorders and then received an in stock game for free? Or is it still completely up in the air? I was going in today with a bunch of trades and then originally planning to reserve BLOPS2 and Halo 4 and wondered if I should even see if my store would allow this?

Dang, almost the last day and still no Zero Escape listed on their website. Gonna have to stop by my store and see if they have it.
