I've done it successfully at both Walmart and Target the last few years. With your game and receipt in a bag, walk up to customer service and ask for a price adjustment during the sale hours. It can help to have the printed ad in hand to speed things along if necessary.

did you try to buy anything from amazon last year? the only competitive prices they had were on the lightning deals, and they're not kidding when they say lightning. if that thread is anywhere to be found, you should check it out. so many people missed out on games because they sold out almost instantly.

Not seeing any deals on marvel vs capcom 3.

Also wish there was a Halo Anniversary deal.

Hurry up gamestop and show your deals! I have tons of credit and you are the last game retailer to show your ad!

When can I get a print copy of Best Buys black friday ad?
and
Will Walmart match that ad before Black Friday?

But those games won't ring up at full price. They'll ring up at the sale price. The games have the same UPC code, no matter where you get them from. It's not like the employee who rings you up inputs the price of the product. They scan the game, and it rings up at the sale price.

I posted earlier in this thread, but my brother is an assistant manager at a walmart, and I called him earlier today and asked him about this.

I'm still hopeful for a stellar GameStop BF ad, especially on the PSVita. I really want to try out Persona4 Golden once it comes out.

if someone thinks that they're going to get charged full price, this is what it boils down to:

do you believe they are taking all of the games that are on sale and inserting them into a new case with a different upc that will ring them up at the discount price? that's not feasible.

i'm with you on the vita sale. i held out on getting the asscreed liberation bundle because i thought it'd go on sale this holiday. so far that's been a bust everywhere. maybe gamestop will come through since other places are going to be having the cod bundle or a lego batman bundle.

if push comes to shove, i might bite on the cod bundle and just trade the game back in.

As for GS having a stellar sale, I doubt it. Alot of the $35 games you see from other ad's will be part of their sale. I wouldn't ride off a vita deal, but it won't be anything great. BB might be the route to go unless you want lego batman 2.

Vanilla has been <$10 so many times. You're probably not going to see any deals on Ultimate as it's not widely available.

Just beat black ops and either flip the game at bestbuy with the 100% promo (if it still is active by then) or sell the game for 40$. That should cover for ass creed liberation. The game was really good by the way ! Except for that broken ball puzzle and glitches lol

So what are the chances of getting one of those ps3 $200 bundles?

Not bad. Depends on where you go, but they should still have a few early friday if you dont feel like going on thursday.

Pretty much guaranteed if you go anytime Friday. In my area, some Walmarts and Targets still had a few left over after the Holidays. Best Buy gets hundreds of them per store. Hell, I went back on Sunday last year and they still had like a dozen left. Same with the XBOX Holiday bundles. You should not have a problem.
