One of my top games this whole generation. Platinumed it on PS3.

It's an alright game. I also Platinumed it, but that's not saying much since the Plat. is pretty easy.

Could easily recommend it at this price.

This is never on sale for the PS3, must be the extremely superior version lol

I think I bought it on PS3 a while back for $10 on sale but I just couldn't get into it. Gameplay was too simplistic. If you're not looking for too much in the way of a challenge I'm sure $5 will be well spent here. You just have to be in the mood for it.

Decent game, well worth it for $5. Its basically a giant, tedious escort mission, but it has its charms.

The PS3 version is definitely not superior. As an example, if your PS3 is set to 1080p, make sure drop it to 720p when playing. Otherwise, the game will attempt to run at 1080p by doing some horrible, horrible upscaling. (It's a known issue.)

Yea, it's a simple game, but it totally clicked for me as a fun game.

I've been wanting to get this, just can't really think of $20 worth of other shit I'd want.

I don't understand how this game isn't more popular - it is exactly like Zelda. I guess they should have made the protagonist an Adonis like Link.

Escort mission would imply you have to protect the Majin though. Really, it's more like him protecting you, so I didn't think it felt like an escort mission at all in the negative sense.

Anyway, I just wanna say that this was one of my favorite games this gen, so it's easily worth a try at $5. It's kinda Zelda-esque with a few Metroid-type elements as far as backtracking/powerups go. On a technical level, the graphics aren't impressive, but the art direction more than makes up for it.

Yea I'm just messing around. I tried the demo and it was ok, and I would get this, but I prefer to play it on my PS3. It just never drops down low enough.

So...I take it this game is averagish from what folks here are saying. Is it worth our time to play?

I missed out the last time when it was cheap, just bought one for that huuuuuuuuuuge backlog!

This is a steal at five dollars.

Same boat I was in; I far prefer my PS3 for games. I finally got a PS3 copy for $10 on Amazon awhile back. I enjoyed the game far more than I expected, and my 3 yr/old boy loved watching me play it. He still asks me how the Majin is doing.

No real interest in this one... but for $5 in for 1.

Waiting for $4.99 or less

If you have any kind of backlog, not really.

Story is forgettable and the combat is simplistic. It's still fun, but it's a 1 time play through game. It's just an all around average game, there isn't anything BAD about it, but it's also not a game that people will calling back on and saying "we need another game like Majin". If you got nothing to play right now and are just looking to pass the time until the next release you want I'd say go for it, but if you have a backlog skip it.

It's nothing like Zelda at all, I don't even know how you could come to that conclusion unless you're thinking of a different game.
