Editor's Note: I will be away until Weds. of next week. I'll try and post any future updates if I can, but I can't promise anything. Happy holidays to everyone!

Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

Unless otherwise indicated, items below are listed in all four (DFW, LA, SJ, and WA) ads.

For a "Christmas sale" these things suck. In fact, Fry's hasn't been keepin' up w/ the competition lately... Hmm.

Nothing to great this week. I'm wonder what's up at Fry's. Too many sport/EA games on sale. Oh well. Thanks fidodido.

Hmm, I'm tempted to get the Simpsons: Season 5, but with taxes it'll only come out about a dollar less than what Amazon has it for. I'll probably just wait for a buy one get one free dvd deal. Thanks for the post though! This is my fav. ad to watch out for.

FIdodido, since you will be gone, I will try to post for you in your abscence (I'm on vacation from work for ten days -- woo-hoo!). I can post the ads for the IL Fry's -- I receive the sun-times on a daily basis (the only IL newspaper that carries the Fry's ads).

There's only like 1-2 games and 1-2 DVDs listed for the daily ads. Friday's big sale ad is pretty much the same as your lists (except our prices were shaq-fu'd this week -- all were about $10 more on average)

I'll try to remember to list Sunday's and Monday's ad.

Friday update for IL:

Low and behold, Fry's has not one, but two sets of ads in today's Chicago Sun-Times. Pretty slim pickings for games/DVDs though:

$14.99: Unreal 2:The Awakening (Xbox)

$29.99: Myst IV: Revelation (PC)

$19.99: Saitek R80 Sports Wheel (PC?)

DVDs:

$14.99: SPiderman 2 (Widescreen)

$29.99: Tiger:The Authorized DVD

Heads up for ppl who follows Fry's ads. According to a post in Fatwallet, there might be a huge, BF type sale going on at Fry's on Sunday. The ad for it should be up on Christmas day and I believe Fry's will open at 7AM the following day for the sale. Not sure if its true, but keep at eye out on it.
