Do you have to buy the Gold membership with Black Ops 2 to get the 800 bonus MS points or can you just buy the game itself?

anybody think its worth the effort to buy 3 paper marios and split it between 3 people? I figure it would be 30 dollars each including shipping to the other 2. could be even less if from someone in a state without sales tax or if someone happens to want 2 copies.

They just did it 2 weeks ago. Were you hoping for a repeat?

I have been holding onto my Mario edition DSi XL for whatever reason, not wanting to trade up to a 3DSXL unless it was really worth it. Amazon is giving $100 for the whole package, and with this ad I could grab a few games for a new handheld. Decisions, decisions. We'll see if anyone is gonna have a decent BF deal on an XL.

Nice, they're doing the Xbox Live thing that they did with Halo, maybe I'll pick it some Live time up.

Was hoping for some sort of sale like this the week of my birthday, as I'd definitely want to take advantage of it to get Paper Mario & Prof. Layton (the hard part is going to be the third game).

Same thing I wanna know - the way it's worded it's unclear. If you only have to buy the game & get the 800 points PLUS the $20 preorder RZ bonus - I'm in.

Yep, you have to buy the gold membership and Black Ops 2 in order to save $20 and get the 800 bonus points. You won't get anything if you purchase the game only.

I wonder if the halo 4 controller will ring up as 45 bucks. It is a wireless 360 controller, after all

Hmm, do you have to buy the 360 version of Black Ops to get that deal on the Live card and 800 points? I have the PS3 version preordered and would prefer it on that system.

Flame Red 3DS with Super Mario 3D Land preinstalled for 149.99 from Best Buy. Best deal for the system I see, but no XL deals this year unless Target or GameStop pulls a fast one (which I will doubt)

Target last year had a similar bundle for the same price I believe. I thought the big retailers (not gamestop) had the same bundle last year for same price on the 3DS. I didn't see a 3DS listed int eh Wal-Mart ad, so Target is left. I'd like to get it from Target to get the extra 5% for red card, but at this rate, it might be from BB.

Release the ad Target, you know you want to

Still no 3DS xl bundles. What exactly is the big difference between the XL and regular 3DS besides bigger screen. And does the Bigger Screen make a big difference. My son is wanting one this year and I never have been a fan of handheld gaming so don't know much about these.

from what i've seen on the interwebs, the differences are as follows:

1) 90% Bigger Screens (duh) though the resolution is the same so things will look more pixelated. This is maybe a problem? I don't know, I think pixels are hot.

2) Slightly better battery life. Not sure by how much, but a little better.

3) the unit is bigger, but not by as much as you would expect. It seems they take better advantage of the system's real-estate and increase the screen size without increasing the actual

4) the hinge is supposed to be better, i guess the one on the standard 3ds feels kind of flimsy

so the deals for $150 3ds + mario 3d land are really good, but I think that it's not worth it to buy an inferior piece of hardware to save some money. I'll be buying the XL for $20 off at BB next week unless gamestop or target announce a better deal. It seems unlikely, since the XL just came out this summer and retailers probably want to move as much of the regular 3ds as possible this holiday.

Thank You for your input. That was going to be my next question. Would it be worth it to buy the 3DS Bundle on BF for $150 or buy the XL for $20 off BB next week and I was also gonna buy the B2G1 free 3DS games and buy Mario Bros. 2, SML 3D, and Mario Kart.

I'd recommend the XL 3ds over the regular 3ds if portability isnt an issue. The increase in screen size would help since you won't have to hold the 3ds 12 inches away from ur face when ur trying to play and the improved battery life could be useful if you dont have an outlet every where u go, since the regular 3ds can die pretty fast and u have to charge it regularly if you want to play it on the go. The longest time my until my 3ds died was about 5-6 hours but about 4 of those hours it was one standby mostly
