Oddworld Strangers Wrath is awesome in case anyone was wondering or on the fence. One of my favorite Vita games.

I confirm as well, the PSP and PS1 PS+ games can be purchased for free through the PSP store.

i know it's not on sale or anything, but how is Ragnarok Odyssey? i just played the demo and... can't decide. had fun with it, but does it get better or get staler?

I kinda want to get a capcom fighter, but I recall not liking mcv3 and never played sfxtekken. Wish I had picked up Alpha 3 Max when it was on sale.

Hey that worked and it also added them to my purchase/download list so I don't have to worry about it expiring before I get my Vita back.

Thanks for the info!

I couldn't get through the Orgarhythm demo, I got stuck on the catapult tutorial. Sumioni felt quite a bit better but I'm concerned there's not a whole lot of content in that game, more research required. That PSP Patchwork game is really cool though!

Answered earlier, but you have to access via Vita or PSP.

I don't know why but my Vita has very slow download speeds, which isn't a problem since I can just re-download through the PS3 and transfer, but is this common with anyone else?
Old 03-05-2013, 11:46 PM   #8212
My Vita has always had crappy download speeds, even worse than PSN downloads on my PS3.

Okay, so I got to Chapter 3 of Knytt Underground... and then four hours passed without me realizing it. if you enjoy exploring in games you must not pass this up. It starts out slow and fairly constrained but you'll hit a point where the world opens up to an absolutely ludicrous degree. I explored nearly 500 rooms and still only have roughly half the map filled in.

Also important: while there is running around and item-collecting, there seems to be very little, if any, in the way of upgrades allowing you to traverse previously untraverseable paths. There are lots of things which you can't pass until you reach the point I previously mentioned at which the world opens up before you, and there are doors which can't be passed until you complete a quest or crcle around behind them, but there's no "now you have the ice beam, go back to the fire zone" type stuff.

I loved Ragnarok Odyssey. The gameplay was solid and you can freely switch between classes or use your favorite armor without it being out classed. It will take you a while to get "super" powerful, though you can do this alone or with friends.

Told ya it was convoluted.

Sumioni is short, but I still enjoyed it for the artwork. There are like 30 levels and you need certain rankings to play certain levels. Also there are like 6 different endings, so you can get about 2 - 5 hours of play out of it and get all the trophies by just beating every level.

So is Wild Arms Free forever now once you've purchased it for free?

If so that is quite awesome

I just installed it on my PS3 as well since I'd rather play it with a controller that has 4 shoulder buttons and the info says no expiration. So signs point to yes.
Old 03-06-2013, 01:02 AM   #8218
Yeah I bought it using Media Go and am downloading it with my PS3.

I'm pretty happy about this.
Old 03-06-2013, 01:08 AM   #8219
I got all the free games via my PSP. I'm most interested in getting to play wild arms and might even start it tonight. Not a big patapon fan and I have no clue what the other games are. I will have to demo those.

I actually like playing PS1 classics on PSP. Haven't played many to know which games have clunky controls but I'd imagine rpgs play decent on PSP. It also beats playing it on my PS3 on a huge HDTV and I'm to lazy too switch my TV back and forth to my CRT TV for retro gaming.

It's the exact opposite for me. My vita has great download speeds yet my PS3 has connection issues. Almost anything bigger than 500 MBs it will give me an error message and start saying my connection is bad (even though my 360/Wii U/PC/Vita) have never had issues at all. The download speeds are also pretty bad.

I just bought PS All-Stars today and I'm donwloading hte update and it says I have 600 minutes left and it's at 5%. =/ I know today is especially worse because of the store update but still... I've owned my Xbox for much longer and I never experienced anything this bad.
