Is Lumines actually worth that price? I haven't played the series since the original PSP. My memory is getting foggy.

It's one thing to be annoyed and say something about it. It's another thing to be constantly annoyed by the same thing and repeatedly say something about it. Everyone should know how Amazon Lightning Deals work by now. It's been the same story for the past couple years.

While we're all waiting on good amazon deals, i thought i'd let u know that steam deals are live now. And you dont have to worry about those selling out

I didn't know LD were so complicated and tricky until I saw all the complaints on this thread. I never really had an issue with them over the years. If I get something, I get it. If I don't, I'm disappointed, but a flash sale is a flash sale. Games depreciate pretty fast anyhow, so at worst case, I'd just have to be a little more patient.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but the Limited Edition Star Wars 360 is a Lightning Deal right now for $349.99. Not a bad deal for those who couldn't find it locally at a Kmart for $300+Tax.

People are complaining about the Lightning Deals because as recently as 2010 they lasted minutes, not seconds. Does anybody really think Amazon has seen a 500% increase in customers shopping those deals? Hell no, they've just reduced the amount of stock they have for the deals. It's clear they've shifted away from trying to sell a lot of product at a lower margin to trying to sell less but with higher profits.

welcome to 2011 black friday... and the dam waitlist... completely useless i didnt get anything last year and i think that this year i wont get anything if its like that

Keep in mind that there are a lot of people (me included) that only come to this thread for 1 or 2 deals, and aren't camping in this thread.

I get frustrated with repeat questions a lot, especially repeated questions where the answer can easily be acquired by Googling or reading the OP. But I don't really care about a comment like that being made by different people at different times.

I got the only game i came for which is Madden 13. Be thankful it's not like the old lightning deals where you have to sit there refreshing the page while the server keeps crashing...good times.

The reason it offends me is that it's pure stupidity. More people will be disappointed in a hot lightning deal than will be satisfied. yet, the people who say such things think the world revolves around them and because they missed out, that surely, it's because Amazon barely put any of their stock available, nevermind that tens of thousands of other people are trying for the same deal.

How come when a deal is only 20% claimed, no one ever says "what'd they put 100,000 copies available?" They just complain the price sucks. (Which it probably does but you get my point.)

hey has anyone ever gotten off the waitlist (that is get picked) and used Safari? I couldve sworn I was second on the waitlist for one of the skylanders and never got notification and I wonder if the browser matters.
