Same here. Only bought High School of the Dead though because the coupon can only be used once per account.

I've actually kind of grown used to them since they're much safer during shipping at least since there's a thick piece of styrofoam inside. Even though it's the crappy spindle, at least I know the discs and the case will arrive safely since they're rather sturdy too in comparison to some of the econo cases Sentai uses on their two part setters. But I know what you mean.

DeepDiscount customer service is awful with that, so good luck. You may even enjoy a double charge. Happy Thanksgiving!

They used to even have a cancel order button when you made an order, but it didn't work, so they just ended up completing the order anyways even though you clicked the cancel button.

Oh DeepDiscount, good times.

I wrote them several mail to refund me the money. If I dont get the money back by tommorow, then I will report this as theft at my bank.

It's just a hold in all likelihood. This is done pretty much by every retailer when they get an order submission. It's different than an actual charge.

I just cancelled my order of Tears to Tiara because it went backorderd today. I emailed them and they cancelled it. It was good price to get it, but I don't want to wait forever to get it.

It writes "Partially Backordered" now for both orders...I hope they read my mails and cancel (the right) order and refund me.

It's Thanksgiving weekend, so you will probably be waiting for awhile trying to get customer service to get anything done in a timely manner. T___T

Wait, they're on a spindle!? Here I thought they were like the You're Under Arrest sets with just the discs on the walls of the case. I know Sentai isn't all that big, but DVD cases aren't THAT expensive (I should know, I buy a lot of 4, 5, and 6 disc cases). Even Bandai used Scanavo cases, and FUNi uses cheaper cases.

The You're Under Arrest set isn't usually what they use for their DVD sets that big. The case with the discs on the walls seems to be only unique to You're Under Arrest since all of my other Sentai bigger box sets are the spindle ones, so that's probably what it will be when yours arrive. But the spindle boxes seem to be a lot more sturdier than the You're Under Arrest case too, but of course it's always a pain in the neck getting the discs in and out of the spindle cases. T___T

But as you've mentioned, they are still at least better than Bandai, and as far as Funimation goes...ugh...don't even get me started on their shabby quality DVD cases. ~_~
