Dumb question but could I use the monitor for my laptop to make games 3D?

My first one was a lemon. The picture kept cutting to black for about 2-3 seconds at random times. I exchanged and my new one has been working flawlessly for almost a year now.

If you tweak the settings the 3D is superb on both games and blu-rays.

I also saw a ton of the ps3 displays stacked all around the gaming department the other day. I knew something like this was coming. I wonder if there is truth to the rumor that one person said sony refabricated the design or something to fix the problems. They must still be making them after the last few sales to have so much more stock. But why would they at this price? They can't be profitable.

I knew those stacks of 3D tvs would mean a sale. Dang I hope it's online too so I can just order it and return the one I bought at 179.99.

I've had it for over a month and no problems so far. I use it more then my 40in for gaming.

From my experience, not very. I bought one when they were on sale last time (a month or two ago) and it lasted less than a month. I've heard ppl say you can mail them to Sony & they'll fix it, but personally I didn't want to go through all of that so I just returned it for a standard HP monitor.

I don't believe the TS. Especially since all of the items could be considered 'doorbuster quality' that could bring hundreds of more people to buy at BB on BF instead of other stores.

The price for the 3D Display is crazy low, so low, that maybe I would have bought it instead of the 22" Monitor I bought online yesterday. But, I know my BB would be impossible to get inside until around noon on BF and there would be none left.

Quick question: forgive my ignorance.

I know BB isn't PM'ing BF deals, but is that just to other stores? I purchased two of the 3D units within the last 60 days (Silver member) -- if I show up on BF can I have them PM the price to $99? Again, sorry if this has been asked/explained elsewhere -- I do know they aren't PMing deals, just wasn't sure if that meant there own.

Last BF, my BB CS was closed, no personnel.

The 3D display is definitely tempting but it lacks of tech support. Can't even use it as tv along and there's no remote control. I will pass. Sleeping Dogs is definitely tempting though.

Is the Playstation TV worth it for someone in a small dorm room that would like to use it an monitor for their laptop?

You dont need to go to CS to price match stuff. With that said, their policy is to not PM on BF so anyone that even tries to bring it up will most likely get shut down

To be fair, I think this thread was just "unadvertised deals" before being changed to include black friday in the title.

Either way, thanks for the heads up, OP. Maybe I'll invest in a second one for potential game nights.

Damnit why couldn't they keep the 3 month live cards at $7.99 like last year..
