Thought since this might be a fast sale so I would make a separate thread.

The marketing dept. convinced me to make @HotlineMIami 50% off in celebration of the aware nominations rolling in. http://store.steampowered.com/app/219150/

Edit: Looks like it is good until Monday 12/10 at 10 am PST.

There is NO reason to not buy this game. It's pretty much "Drive: The Game" x 1000000. It's unbelievably good. The twitch action/stealth-ish gameplay, the music (the MUSIC).. it's fantastic. 10/10. It took me about five hours to complete the game (the later levels are insanely hard), now I'm going through it again and trying to get the hidden letter in each stage. Fantastic.

Steam only does fast sales during big sale events. Everything else is a daily or 2+ days.

Yeah I see it is good all weekend. Not one to make threads like this since there is a STEAM thread but I thought it was a popular enough game. Sorry if anyone gets upset ahead of time. (not saying you are).

This was posted in the Steam thread:

If we're lucky it might even go on sale for 50% off + $5 voucher = free.
I suggest waiting for another month. Amazon is price-matching on some Steam deals and going even lower on others, so chances are if you're interested in Steam then you have the $5 credit and could get the game for almost nothing in January.

The game looks good but I can wait for 75% off with my backlog.

Bought two copies for two friends, but really, I wanted to give the developers more money. It's an insanely good game.

I want to get this, but I know by the time I get to it, it'll have been in some sort of indie bundle.

I want this so bad but I can't justify buying another game, even at 50% off with all the $40 games I have yet to finish.

If they fixed all of the major bugs and the controller support is done well, grab this. Its a short bit of fun since it gets old fast and the soundtrack is only as good as it can be the first time you play, but for that few hours you do play it, it is very enjoyable.

I have a feeling this could eventually end up in a humble bundle

So they have a separate digital service then? No Steamworks?

I know this is CAG, but this really is a great little game. I don't get the comment about the music only being good once; I play through the soundtrack on Soundcloud quite frequently. You'll get 4-5 hours of mileage out of it easy, which is a much better value than most other games. Not that I think I'm going to convince anyone. Yeah, the AI is a bit dumb and there are some glitches here and there, but it's really fun.

I guess I just feel like this is the sort of game that you SHOULD be supporting, but that's another discussion that's not really worth starting here.

Dang... I already own all the games I want on the $5 promo list. But for those that don't this is basically a free game!

Stop with the Indie Bundle talk. This game is worth every penny of $5.. it'd be worth every penny of $20. Support indie game developers and buy this game at $5. If you miss this sale, buy it at $10. It's that good.

Best to buy this on Amazon, it comes with $5 promo, which is pretty neat.
