Gonna have to jump on AC3 trade-in. Just beat it over a week ago, and won't touch it again anytime soon, with a bunch of Christmas games incoming. Already redeemed all the codes, so I'll have them for the next time I rebuy it. I do have Alice, Sly Collection and GTA Complete, but actually want to hold onto them. Don't wanna risk an OOP game being hard to find down the road (well not GTA, but still).

Also gonna pick up the Kindle Fire HD (including the $25 Amazon gc) with all my credit, it's the best deal out there right now for it....even Amazon is giving nothing extra with it.

Traded in Black Ops 2, AC3, GTA4: Complete, and Just Dance:GH all for $116 yesterday. I love you guys!

...and like I noticed a few others mention, the 10% added, doesn't come from the promo's value, but the actual base value of the game. So prepare yourselves for disappointment there (but not too much).

All because someone wanted to make $5 and stick Gamespot with thousands of copies of AC 1.
GS has been doing these types of boosted TIVS every couple of months. Obviously its for a big b2g1 before christmas. I might use my credit towards that, or buy the BO2 season pass.

They get more people drooling at trading in the game they paid $60 for at $30, which they flip at $55. Don't lose your head here, guys, remember that they're in the business of their profits first, and you can probably get better value for these via other 3rd parties (eBay, Craigslist, forums here or elsewhere).

Sure, if you got a great deal on Black Friday, you might be able to flip, but that's only if they don't drop the prices in the next week or so.
I am willing to bet the majority of these games would not get more on ebay after fees. No one here is being tricked into trading $60 games for $30. I also doubt most CAGs would be willing to pay these prices knowing how cheap many of these games have been recently. There are some exceptions but overall this TIV promo is more than fair. Most of us are either making money or dumping finished games for $35-$42. I don't see the conspiracy here at all.

Guess some of my back log might go away for a little while... GTA4 complete, Dead Island, shit have GoW saga, infamous complete, and KZ collection sealed and dont think I can part with them for even money. So you need the disc for the God of War saga DLC?

Do work!!!

Honestly, most people who are flipping just end getting games for themselves to play (or maybe even Christmas gifts). I know I'm hitting up a BB and getting some Portals, so I can get a Kindle fire (plus $25 amazon gc) on the cheap.

That still works even though the promo says the value of the games has to be over 2.00?

that 2$ thing is for the 3/10 deal. the links crossbow training exploit is for the 50% extra towards a used game purchase

What are you doing paying $60 for a game? Just curious.

Wow. 2 copies of Forza Horizon I scored at Walmart for $30 netted me $76 and change with this trade in! Far Cry 3 for half price FTW!
