Haven't really seen this deal discussed too much when I checked the other GS threads. I think the 6+ deal is really good on DS games if you pick the right ones. Yes, you are going to get cartridge only in-store and probably online too, but I couldn't resist grabbing a ton of DS games for super cheap.

If you can't order it online, I'd suggest checking in store as they tend to have a pretty decent selection.

If you want to buy something more expensive or need filler check your store for Link's Crossbow Training (.49 cents) or Wii Fit (Disc only) as you can buy multiples of those to get you over the 6 threshold. Works great for buying some of the pricier Wii or DS games.

If you are getting a DS/3DS or know someone who will be getting one for Christmas now would be a good time to stock up. Have a more expensive game in mind? Combine it with some cheap ones and they all get the discount if you meet the number requirements.

It was worth it to me alone for Dementium 1 and 2 (I found 1 online, 2 in store).

Theres a few cheapo DS games I still need. Probably look around in the store to see what they have.

I was planning on getting Brain Age 1+2 soon. Looks like I’ll be saving 50 cents Not complaining, it’s better than nothing. There weren’t many others that interested me in particular, but the scenarios of buying a more expensive title with cheaper ones is interesting.

Why dont people get a bunch of links crossbow training copys and and one game you acually do want ? Get 30 off a game you want by just getting a bunch of cheap 40 cent games lol

Not a bad idea at all for more expensive games. Spend $1.40 (5 x .40 x .7) and get 30% off something in the $30 to $50 range.

Now only issue is if a store has that many in stock.

Cheapest game on the website is 99 cents. Are there cheaper titles in store? (Link's Crossbow training is 40 cents apparently??)

Any idea if this stacks with the Power Up card?

I was told in store that it does and that I would get 40% off total if I signed up for. I don't buy used at GS too often so I didn't sign up and can't confirm, but that is what they told me.

I hear ya. Been looking for to grab these for some time, finally found some new copies at a decent price this week. One of the greatest series on the DS without question.

I was not a fan of what little I've played of Touch Detective though.

I was wondering why I got the 10% off yesterday at GS when I bought A Boy and his Blob and Wii Fit, thought it was a mistake on the clerk thinking I was a PUR member. I've been buying a good amount of Wii Fit titles recently for replacement / extra cases (and a random chance the CN codes are still valid) and selling the games, now I'm debating on buying five copies with one game I really would like.

Also just to confirm again, Link's Crossbow Training is $0.49, but it won't be listed on their website, so you would have to call your local to see how many copies they have.

I actually liked the first Touch Detective but I can see it not being for everyone.

And I actually had not heard of Dementium until I saw it in store and then looked it up on my phone. Sounded right up my alley so I bought II there and then was lucky they had I for order online (along with some cheapo stuff).

Bought those two and 3 copies of wii fit and 1 of link's crossbow training for $72ish after taxes. Had two trades which brought it down to $57. Kid looked at me like I was crazy, then he continued to watch my total go down from $100+... Awesome deal for these games. I just scored a WiiU using their trade in promos so I'm really looking forward to playing these.

Probably going to use this again next week with SMG2, Last Story and Kirby. Again, I would have never know about this promo without the thread, nor the Wii Fit/Links Crossbow.

Wow, that's a pretty awesome score. Looks like the Wii Fit/Link's fillers make this a sweet deal for rare Wii or DS games if you can find them.

My ds and Wii selection is pretty thin...may be time to bulk em up.

Thanks for the info Fox. I'm sitting with a cart with Hotel Dusk, Pokemon Black 2, and some lesser titles for 30 shipped, still trying to figure out if my love of Pokemon is enough to counter the fact I hardly touched the first one. I'm willing to take a gamble on carts, since I don't have a Gamestop anywhere near here.

However, I'd strongly advise against buying used discs from them online, at least based on my own personal experience. I only made that mistake once honestly, what I received was in such horrific condition I didn't ever want to try again. The ironic thing is, in spite of water damage, brown substances, and scratches galore, the discs *did* at least work... but the 3DS game sent in the same shipment *didn't*.

Edit: They got in Dual Strike back to their online site, which pushed me to go ahead and buy! I lost that game *years* ago, and have been meaning to replace it all this time... doing so for about 6 bucks was great!

They also added Contact(full price $5), Spirit Tracks(full price $20), and I think Super Princess Peach and Mario and Luigi PiT. Thanks again!
