I would have gotten Dishonored over Hitman. I unfortunately suffered the corrupted save problem right at the last mission. So I promptly traded it in the next day because I didn't feel like playing the whole thing again.

This is why BB stopped matching GC deals. Stupidly enough, since they removed that info from their PM policy, now they don't remember how to handle PMing when they offer the GC. Oh BB...

im gonna try and price match the toys r us deal ( 2 for $70) farcry 3 & halo 4, @ bestbuy, i realy want those games, so since i have $70 in credit at BB, its perfect, my bestbuy is pretty good on price matching, so i shouldn't have a problem.

This deal has nothing to do about PM'ing GC deals. We are just PM the price of the games and the free GC is a BBY deal for buying 2 games on the list of qualified games. If you do this in store you don't even have to say anything about the free GC, it will pop up after they hit total. I'm sure everyone that's being turned down is because the mgr is overlooking at the transaction.

Went to Best Buy to PM Baller Beats (19.99 Gamestop) with Just Dance 4 (29.99 Target))
Decided to pick up Halo 4 (39.99 Target) and Hitman Absolution (39.99 Target))
then I realized I got the Mystery Reward Cert ($10 of course) so I went back to pick up Baller Beats (Again) and Dishonored (39.99 Target)

I was in such a rush that I don't remember pocketing the GC after the cashier rang it up. Ugh, am I screwed for my last GC?

so no far cry pms?

Was finally able to get a cashier who didn't care that I got a pm and the promo offers. They were probably just trying to get rid of me after doing a price match for 4 different games.

Ended up matching Baller Beats, Halo 4, New Super Mario 2 and Paper Mario Sticker Stars.

I tried to do this and it blocked the associate from applying PM after purchase. I then tried returning the 1 game and it deducted 20.00 of the 40.00gc from my return. The deal for the OP definitely seems ymmv. At the time of my purchase I tried to PM and it took away the gc.

After trying all three ways I gave up. Any suggestions?

It DOES have to do with PMing GC deals. BB used to outline their procedure for PMing 1) in the event BB was offering the GC and 2) in the event the competitor was offering the GC. When they had those terms in their policy, this deal would not have been successful. From what I remember though, the terms were confusing as , so they deserve it.

After having luck with doing all this yesterday, I'm tempted to go back tomorrow and PM just dance for wii an 360 to get the card, then go back and trade in the games for about $42.

Awesome deal man...I was going to do this by Saturday anyway because my son and my brother both wanted halo 4...never thought of having them pm target..cashier did with no problem...then went and got ipad 4th gen for the wife ,used the 40 gc and got them to pm target again and I have another 50 gc. Feels like stealing getting two halos for $40.

Woah woah woah..target has a GC deal for iPads?! That's the whole reason I keep building my Best Buy credit is to put towards an ipad. I have to check this out!

I wonder if BBY would deduct $50 instead of giving a GC. I seem to recall them doing that with similar promotion matches. Then I could use my $100 in gift cards on top of that.

Since NFS MW is online for 49.99 I can PM that right?

It appears to work for 79.98 she did have to manually enter the 40 dollar gift card though so I am not sure if that is normal or not.

If u got a local frys they can do $49.99, I got mine over phone for $54 they offered me %10 off because they couldnt pm frys for me since I don't have one local.
