My most addictive games on steam for me personally are Terraria, New Vegas (mods omg), Civ 5, Skyrim, and Sims 3. I love time sinks. Especially ones that cost me 5$.

Appears to be a hidden flash sale on Frozen Synapse for 80 percent off. Given the last glitch that means there are likely two other glitches somewhere.

WTF? It says I already own Dota 2? This is my first time visiting the page to even consider buying it. How do I have it?

This just happened to me too. No idea how, and I was the one who was just wondering about the Dota 2 beta keys.

Thanks. Just bought the Red DLC. I wish I had caught the 90% glitch during the Summer sale. But I wasn't gonna pass up 80% again.

I have noticed that this happened to me. Seeing as how I am not an avid PC gamer who does not know what DOTA 2 is I am not too concerned.

Oh great... that'll probably be one of the next flash sales... unreal.

That is because everyone on steam owns Dota 2 spectator client, that has the same appid of the game, so it says you have when you really dont.

Quick catch up skim and didn't see anyone else mention it, so a quick PSA for the Need For Speed Flash sale: Shift 2 is also 75% off, I mention this because I got burned on the Summer sale buying Shift 1 because they didn't include Shift 2 with the rest of the NFS titles on the sale screen even though it is part of the flash sale. So yeah, if you are considering it NFS: Shift, just get Shift 2 Unleashed for the same price.

Also Hot Pursuit is actually a lot more fun than I expected it to be. Think of it as Burnout 4 or 5 or whatever number it left off with before going all sandboxy with Paradise and I think you'll have a good time with it. Well worth the $5 in my opinion.

Shift 2 is entertaining and a reasonably well done "sim" racer, but if you have a console and access to Forza 4 or Gran Turismo 5, it's pretty unnecessary in comparison. If you're PC only though, could do a lot worse than $5 for it.

Doom Rails is a goofy game but it's fun especially in multiplayer. Single player can be fun too but there's just something about being a monkey or a clown in a mining car and smashing into your buddy's mining car. Easily worth the 74 cents.

If that actually goes in a daily deal, I will need to go to the medic so he can confirm the time of death of the steam sales.

Hah ! now that would be a real slap in the face to have that game go on sale with Doom but not the other Quake games with Quake.

Hey Motoki .. need to get a multiplayer game going sometime then. I have had it sitting in my backlog for ages and never got around to playing it.
