All of the Borderlands 2 stuff on Steam is Steamplay -- so if you get the Mac version you automatically get the PC version, too.

I have a question, my first time buying PC games from amazon.

I'm seeing games that dont even say what the DRM is. Are they all redeemable on Steam unless said otherwise? Or are EA games the only ones not used on Steam? I'm confused.

Yeah, I was gonna mention that as well. But I didn't think that was what he was asking.

Good thing to keep in mind though for those looking to pick it up. If the mac version is cheaper but you're running windows, you could always pick up the mac version and get the windows version (& Vice-verse). You'd get both the Windows & mack version regardless of the version that you buy.

It is not always the case, but in general, it appears at the top of the screen if it's steam DRM.

You can see it listed under the name of the game near the top of the page. Under the name of the game, there is the publisher. The line under that starts with "Platform" and eventually it will list the DRM.

Was going to use my code on rockstar classics (cant find it though) then after reading some comments decided against it...Honestly? Lot of games but nothing really stands out for me. Many of the prices are similar to steams (and some of the cheaper games can be had for cheaper still in certain bundles)..

"Steam account and Games for Windows Live required for game activation and installation"
I have steam but am unfamiler with Windows live.
I have a pc and am wondering if I need to make some account for the WIN Live thing?
Also is this a good buy for 11.25 or should I wait longer? Perhaps the Steam Summer Sale?

Cheapest I can see in the summer sale is maybe 10 dollars...so you would be saving about a buck waiting 3-4 months.

With that said, yes you have to make a GFWL acct, kinda sucks...

Dark Souls is worth 60 dollars.
I double dipped from the ps3.


@Tony, currely EA is having a sale on their Battlefield franchise, the premium pack for BF3 is 30 dollars, any chance in matching that?

Hey Tony, will Amazon be carrying the BioShock Infinite season pass that got announced today? It'd be nice to be able to use one of the $15 2k credits towards BioShock Infinite DLC.

What exactly is the "Tomb Raider Experience Pack"? It's listed in the square/enix section the the 2nd post.

I can't find anything like that through the Amazon search. And when I try to do a search outside of Amazon via Google (which one shouldn't have to do, but sometimes it works), I'm not getting any results either. Supposedly it's $13.49. But I can't even find anything using the keywords "Tomb Raider" at that price point.

It's a mystical experience! Sounds like some booster DLC to the new Tomb Raider game. I know a truckload hit the Steam registry a few days ago.

It allows you to add unusually large breasts to any character in a platformer/action game. Works wonders to make sonic playable for me.
