bad news, the coupon can only be used once.

another bad news, you just wasted the coupon on a $3.74 game.

Thanks Man! I have been looking out for this game for some time!

I think I already know this, but just do be sure.. one can buy the Mac version of Borderlands 2, and redeem it on a steam account through a pc right? Since it is steamplay?

Activate a key over Steam that supports Steamplay, you get both Windows & Mac versions.

EDIT:
Keep in mind that if you pre-order Bioshock Infinite, you can't use the 2K coupon (once they give it to you, once Infinite is out) on Borderlands 2 MAC.
2K did NOT publish Mac version of Borderlands 2.

EDIT 2:
Might wanna wait.
Borderlands 2 recently was $19.20 on GMG after a % off coupon.
Nevermind, confirmed from the page before.

Yes, Steamplay is the feature you are looking for to allow this and BL2 is indeed a game that offers Steamplay.
Edit: and one minute too late as you already answered your own question!

I have no idea if this is case here or not.

It is worth noting - you can boot some Steam-versions w/out Steam going from just running EXE from the actual game-folder w/out booting Steam - i.e. Borderlands 1; some G4WL games (RF:G + GTA4 + EFLC).

I own Far Cry 3 on Steam. It has a Uplay-lite client that is NOT the regular Uplay client. I think the reason they did this is they stripped out the store part. This is to avoid the EA Origin problems that creeped in when Origin games started selling their content via their own client.

The regular Uplay offers a store. The version included with my Splinter Cell Conviction or Far Cry 3 does not. Overall, it's not that big a deal... as long as it works. IN GENERAL, Uplay does have a LOT of problems, though...

Since the Uplay Lite is not the same as the Uplay standard, I have not been able to load Far Cry 3 just from the Uplay client. I had to do it from Steam. The Uplay point system does carry over, though.

LOL, No worries. My fault as it was answered just one page back. Had it been 5 or 6 pages back I might be more inclined to excuse myself...

Hey Tony, couple things:

1. I used the code on sim city and it worked fine but now when I try to buy another game, as long as it isn't a pre order it gives me the CAGROCKS discount again. I haven't used it again cause i assume this is a bug? Any thoughts?

2. When i pre ordered sim cty it had the +5$ credit... now it doesn't show up on it's page though, will I get the 5$ or not? and when?

3. I pre ordered bioshock infinite, how do i use both 15$ credits when i get the second one on a sigle game? Also the page doesn't mention steam and it's a steamworks game.

Cheers.

Thanks for all this info!

I find it VERY interesting that UbiSoft actually included a "UPlay Lite-Client" w/out their store into their Steam-versions. I guess they really do see Steam-sales as important to them, unlike some other companies who seem to often want to flat-out skip Steam altogether of late.

EDIT:
Still, I'd probably rather deal w/ UPlay only version, than Steam-Version using Steam + UPlay Lite.

Any chance of a Torchlight II deal coming soon? I missed out. :( I can't remember if Amazon has had a deal on it yet, though. If not, bet they will soon??

Just more points of failure to potentially deal with.

They won't, because Amazon PCDD doesn't carry Torchlight II.

Alas, CAGROCKS does not appear to work anymore for SimCity.

Not really.
All they had to do was keep uPlay 1.x for Steam rather than update it to 2.x like with every other version.

Hey Tony, any chance Amazon is going to match the ArenaNet site for Guild Wars 2 and their 30% off they're running on both versions?
