I really just meant to say it wasn't a separate "real" game like the Hitman Sniper Challenge which was actually part of your Steam Library.

No but you should be able to just give them the code.

Bought it and when trying to redeem on Origin it gives me a "General Error" and asks to try again later.

Anybody got the same ?

Seconded (excluding any codes/vouchers). Only released near end of last year, very popular game (as with all previous iterations) will hold its price imho (barring sales etc) til news of the 2014 edition comes out i reckon

Try again. I got the same message and then it worked after I tried again a couple minutes later.

I'm sorry if this has been asked, but when pre-ordering a digital game (bioshock infinite in this case) is your CC charged immediately? I would assume so since you get a free game with it.

Also will the deal still be going on even the day before it comes out? I'm procrastinating pre ordering if it charges immediately as I'm trying to get the game on my next credit card bill.

Amazon doesn't charge you till they send you the key for the game itself. Other places in general charge you at time of preorder (Steam, GMG)

Thanks! it took some tries but it registered fine now. It gives a new thumbnail in Origin library unlike other DLCs which are listed under the base game.

Pre-orders do not charge CC immediately till the keys are released and that happens "before" release day for pre-loading.

The free game and credit will not be given till you have been charged and that's why it says :

You will receive an e-mail within two days after the release of the game detailing how to redeem your free download of XCOM: Enemy Unknown.

I think the deal should be up untill before the release on the 26th even though the keys will be distributed on the 22nd

I'm 95% sure it does not. Which is a shame, because mirrors edge is one of those EA games on steam which don't give you a CD key, so it is very hard to move your steam copy to origin, and therefore have to buy the game again as an origin version to play the dlc.

Is 2K releasing anything this year for PC besides the Xcom shooter? Trying to figure out what I'd use the $30 credit on in the foreseeable future.

I vaguely remember the whole discussion for the pre order bonuses for infinite. Was it the credit versus the games? Just want to know if amazon with throw in bioshock 1

It may be difficult to get Steam support to cough up the key, but not so hard to warrant purchasing a second copy. Just explain what you want to do in an email to Steam support. My experience -> after a few rounds, they have always given up the goods.
