i have one coupon left. As good as that thq bundle looks, I think i will save the coupon for either the fable pack or the arcade (Deadlight/ITSP/Iron Brigade/Mark of the Ninja/Toy Soldiers) pack.

thanks tony and keep those deals coming!

I just need some clarification before jumping on Fable III

Steam version = Steam + GFWL
GFWL version = only have GFWL

right?

and none of these have that dreadful Securom on top of it?

Steam's store page says it has Securom (5 installs per month at least). Do all versions of Securom have a revoke system like in Red Alert 3?

Not an answer to your question, but remember it is Amazon's policy to issue a new KEY to you if you run out of activations on a game you purchase from them. So if you do run out of activations, just get another key from Amazon CS.

Yeah but it's kind of a hassle for Steam keys. If you run out of activations, you'd have to contact Steam's support to remove the subscription, then ask Amazon for a new key.

Any word from the sick NCSoft rep about revisiting Guild Wars 2 @ $30 again during the January sale yet? That's still #1 on my 'must get' list, but $60 is a bit pricey for my budget.

I always wonder how people run out of activations in a time-frame where they'd even still be thinking about that game. Guess I'm just weird then.

I've wondered how that works with steam. I was under the impression that once you have a game in your steam library, you can't add the same game with a different key. So when amazon does issue a new key, what do you do?

for example, I'm in the middle of the original borderlands, and steam gives me the keys for the DLCs. lets say I run out of activation for a DLC and get a new borderlands key from amazon. How would that translate to the DLC key.

Once the msft deals go live I'll pick up the arcade pack if it is $5 after coupon. At $10 it would require some thought, same with AOE3 complete, $5 would be a no-brainer, $10 requires some debate.

Already have F:TLC and F3, so those are a no go for me.

So is there a new link to the Editors Choice page?
Whenever I go there everything is back to full price and none of these other games that are part of the deal even show up.

Just because they are on the editor's choice list doesn't necessarily mean they are on sale, and the "other games" (I assume you mean the bundles) don't get added until the day the deal goes live.

There is only one Editor's Choice page. The only deal that is currently going on AND is affected by the EC credit is the Tantalizing THQ Medley which is in the OP (but for some reason is not on the actual EC page, but is the DotW). The other deals being discussed are either being proposed or are not live yet.

Same. Tony said there probably won't be but I'd love one too.

Not always.
That's up to the publisher and/or developer, a lot of times.

Some of the Securom-equipped games have their terms, rules & (maybe) revokes tools on this page:
https://support.securom.com/pop_titles.html

EDIT:
Fable 3 PC's revoke tool is here:
https://support.securom.com/pop_fable3.html

I'm itching (the good kind) to buy the EA sports bundle - too good a price to pass up. But the thought of giving EA anything for these pathetically old versions on the PC just makes my skin crawl. Part of me says if lots of folks buy it, then just maybe they get the hint and pay more attention to us but this is EA after all and very likely they'll just interpret a high sale number as an opportunity to milk it more.

Tony,

with all the sales in the past year or so, are you seeing any shift in how some of the larger publishers are viewing the pc landscape?
