No, if you have a clear save from the first game, you just get a ton of bonuses from transfer, making it much easier to complete. Otherwise the grind is much longer.

You still get the same game either way.

These games aren't the best SRPGs, they're thinly veiled dating sims in my opinion (have you seen Aksys' promotions for these?) If you have a PS3 just stick with Disgaea for your number crunching.

ok thanks! The grinding part doesn't bother me too much since that's pretty much the norm. Ordered myself a copy.

Glad you guys were able to get in on this. I've been a long time lurker and just recently registered, but I figure that since I'm willing to buy almost any LE for$13 that my fellow CAGers would appreciate it too.

the same reason I bought it. I'll pretty much buy anything at $10, so a $13 LE is a no brainer for me. Thanks again & welcome to CAG (officially)

i bought a used one w some poweruprewards points when it was like 18 traded back in the used copy of the game and put in my sealed copy i got from newegg guess i should have held out a bit longer
