Been waiting for something like this to subscribe. Now how do I find out when my subscription ends? I'm sure it is easy to find I am just having trouble located the info.

I was planning to get a $50 PSN card at Sam's Club today so I could take advantage of this offer. Unfortunately, their network went down, so that means I couldn't purchase the card, as there wasn't a way to "activate" it. Guess I'll try again tomorrow.

finally a deal with PS+ subscriptions!

Idea: Can I combine this with the PlayStation Card offer? Get approved for the card, get a year of PS+, input, get additional 3 free months?

I just renewed on 1/24, so I'm in the same boat. I called Sony customer service, and was told they could refund me what I spend on the subscription, and then I could rebuy it under the promotion. I was told, though, that since there would be a lapse in my subscription, that I might lose any free games that I got during the past year during my prior subscription, if they aren't being offered for free anymore.

This is different from what I've always heard about PS Plus. I was under the assumption that once your subscription lapsed, if you picked it up again, you could play anything you had picked up under your previous subscription. I told the rep that, and he said that he was told by the specialist he checked with that i might lose some stuff...

Anyone ever let a subscription lapse, and then renew later? If so, did you lose anything?

I let it expire, and renew many times, haven't lose anything.

Cool thanks man. I just got weirded out when the sony rep himself said I could lose the games...

I might finally join Playstation Plus because of this offer.

Oh cool, my subscription ends in a couple of weeks! Yup, a retailer having a sale on PSN cards would be great right about now!

Really hope this works until March, we might see some cheaper one-year PS+ during the time frame, and further stack on this deal.

Hmm i wanna jump on this deal but I might move to vietnam or saudi arabia for a semester during fall. Anyone know if psn+ works in vietnam or saudi arabia? lol

as long as you have the Internet. your account is set-up for a US account and it will stay that way unless you change it. You can change your location but that will not change the fact that your account is set-up with the PlayStation network America. I have a Japanese account bc I was in Japan when the ps3 first came out and I'm now back in the states so I use two accounts one for the Japanese Network & Market the other for USA

If I buy a 12mo PSN Plus from Amazon/Best Buy this promo will add 12+3mo or a specific 12+3mo card is needed? I tried the Canadian Seller link but the auction ended.

if u buy it from amazon u will get 12 months + 3 months as a bonus

As long as it is a full 12 month code, it'll add the +3 months. The promotion is for any 12 month purchase (physical or online). You can not get the +3 months by doing 12 x 1month cards or 4 x 3month cards. It has to be the full year.
