We worked very closely with the Dev-Team of Dead Space 3 to make sure this collector's edition is squarely grounded in-fiction, and just as cool and well made as possible.

• Med Pack Water Bottle
• Bound SCAF Jotter
• 3 SCAF Posters
• 6 Peng Postcards
• 96 Page Mini Art Book
• A copy of Dead Space 3 on the platform of your choice (PC copies are disc only; we are unable to provide a downloadable version)
• DLC: First Contact bundle (includes the First Contact Suit and Negotiator weapon for precise dismemberment)
• DLC: Witness the Truth bundle (includes the Witness the Truth suit and tactical Evangelizer weapon)

Only 5,000 Dev-Team Editions were made, total. Each tin crate comes with a metal plate with that edition's number stamped into it.

I know its hard to win at making a valid collector's edition, but seriously...

Why they picked the marker over one of the iconic necromorph's is beyond me.

Bought one without the game. I suggest to anyone who is thinking about getting this, do it now! There are under 1450 left.

Because the marker is relatively iconic in the game? It's central to the overarching plot in the Dead Space lore...

How do you check inventory on this?

Start at random number and keep increasing or decreasing number until you don't receive error message.

While I don't like the contents, id be willing to bet it's a good investment. I purchased the dead space ultra edition back in the day, displayed it on my shelf for around 4 years and ended up selling it on ebay for $1000. Difference was, they were only 1,000 of those made.

Thanks OP, had no idea about this. Grabbed one without game... hopefully this will be done better than the Boarderlands 2 Edition.

Remaining is currently around 1093 with no cart error (1094 get error)

grabbed one with no game, wasnt planning to get game day 1 but I see this becoming the next fallout 3 survival edition

5000 and individually numbered means I'm in for one, and possibly a 2nd later on.

I imagine the one without game is going to go fast since they are all actually packaged the same without the game. The ones with the game are just getting the game shipped separately.

I also like that we may get the extras early (possibly before the game release).

I think I'm going to pass on this. With the game being sold separate, this is a glorified goody bundle and doesn't really seem like an LE.

Seems kinda expensive for stuff that isn't so great.

DS2 was one of my favorite games in the last few years, picking one up for sure. Even if it doesn't jump in price being a limited numbered CE, I'll enjoy it myself. Just wish for $110 shipped that it actually came with the game too.
